Steven Announces New Album, BEAUTY WILL RISE

Since the tragedy of last year I have watched your family grow in a way that I admire so much because I don't know if I could have gone through what your family did and to see you bringing forth so much good out of what seemed so bad...it's something the world truly needed and needs to see! I want to congratulate you on the opening of Maria's Big House of Hope! I have been praying for you about this. I am also so excited to hear about your new album! You are my favorite music artist and your songs have ministered to me and my closest friends many many times. I saw you in concert here in Washington on May 17th 2008... when the news came a few days later about Maria Sue, my heart was broken and I joined the thousands praying for you and your family. I have been so inspired by your strength and transparency through this whole time. Thank you for being vulnerable and using this crisis as a ministry and an opportunity to offer others hope. Your stories of adoption have re confirmed my desire to adopt... I am praying for the little child who may be led into my home years and years from now (Right now I am 17). Thanks for the video update Steven. We were able to see you in Abbotsford B.C., and we loved your song "Heaven Is The Face". We will continue to pray for you and your family as you continue to move on... It was so great to see your sons playing in concert right along side you. You are a amazing, inspiring, and beautiful family and have been such an encouragement to ours. Congratulations on the opening of Maria's Big House of Hope. It is so exciting! so looking fwd to the new release! funny thing, b4 you arrived in Seattle for WOF, I carefully listened to the radio to try to catch "Heaven is the Face". Frustrated at not hearing it, I went to the spirit 105 website to review the songs that were played that day. THEN I realized it was indeed JULY 21st that day, not AUG 21st! ;-) LOL!!!

Continuing in prayer for your precious family. As you walk on His path, as He carries you, remember He is closer than your breath. May He sprinkle joy throughout your days and may you see the full expression of the glory of our mighty Lord revealed as you share with the world how He will make the Beauty rise.

November 3rd is going on our calendar!!! :) I'm so excited to hear this is coming up! I love the pictures and enjoyed the tour of MBHOH! The reality of the love being played out there in the rooms of that place is so striking to me tonight. As the mom of a little guy with special needs, my heart has been blessed as I've read about MBHOH tonight!!! As I'm getting off of this site to feed my youngest child, I'm praying for MBHOH and for this album as it comes out! What a blessing! Can't wait to hear it!!!

Wow! So excited, and above all so THANKFUL Steven for the fact that you will be sharing these songs with us.

As so many have already written, we see this album (and Maria's Big House) as the beginning of the fruit we have been praying for. Thank you for offering yourself as a broken vessel to the Lord and letting Him shine His glory through you. I SEE his faithfulness and the HOPE He has given you, and hear your testimony of His faithfulness and His promises, and I am rejoicing.

As so often with your music (which the Lord has used deeply in my life for 20 years...) the timing of this project is very much a God-thing. One of my missionary friends and colleagues was murdered recently for sharing his faith in a Muslim land, and I and so many who knew and worked with him are praying and believing that beauty WILL rise from the ashes of this tragedy. I believe the Lord will use your songs to help us remember the Lord's faithfulness, promises and love in this time of grief and shock.

Thank you for being HIS and for sharing all you are learning with us. What a gift and offering.
