Jim here for Steven.
He and Mary Beth wanted to invite you to join the team on the trip to China... well, virtually at least. Here's a link to the blog of a photographer there with them as they open up a special needs orphans facility, Maria's Big House of Hope.
Thanks for your prayers! http://www.austinmann.com/trek/
I want to thank you personally for wriththe album Beauty will Rise. I has helped me so much with my on greif and i will continue to pray for you. My 6 year old Samantha went to live with Jesus on May 21, 2009. I have read Marias story and she sounds so much like Samantha who was also adopted, and loved to eat butter. Your songs have helped me keep my faith during this time when I felt that I was just ready to give up and surcome to the pain. I thank you again.

I'm sure this note will be lost among the many fans who write to your blog. But I wanted to speak a few words in response to heaven is a place. A year ago I went to Vietnam and met my son Nathan. His first night home he fell asleep in my arms. I have never seen him so scared, he wimpered, surrendered and then laid his head upon my chest. Your song speaks of a day when the orphan's bed is empty. Nate is the truest picture of God's grace I have ever experienced. I can't imagine the pain of losing one of these precious gifts, but I know one thing-God blessed the life of every child who has been adopted even if their blessing was just for a short while-God's gift to them-was you. The times you sang to her, held her, and made her laugh were gifts as much for her as for you. God must have had a special plan to put her into your life. Its so wonderful that she got to be a part of your family and that you got to be her parents. I am inspired more by your example (Steven) than even your music ever could. Thank you for your continued love of orphans-till they all have a home.

I asked a question Lord
are you really there?
To answer all of my...my problems.
I'm in need of you Lord, you see
I'm in so much pain.
I want to know your Love in so many ways
And the Lord cries out..
Come home my child
I'll wait for you
I see where you are broken
I know you seek my truth
Come home my child
I'll wait for you
I see you where you are
I'll comfort you
I see Your coming
with the blast of Your Name
to gather those who have no shame
We're all ambassadors
until Your Kingdom comes
So Lord help us to Glorify Your Name
And the Lord cries out..
Come home my child
I'll wait for you
I see where you are broken
I know you seek my truth
Come home my child
I'll wait for you
I see you where you are
I'll comfort you
If your lonely..
He'll comfort you
And if you need a friend
He'll be that too
And when you cry all night long
He'll hold you close
He will rock you
'cause your his child
Come home my child
I'll wait for you
I see where you are broken
I know you seek my truth
Come home my child
I'll wait for you
I see you where you are
I know where you've been
I see you where you are
I'll comfort you
"come home my child"
written after our son was abducted
and found.
Those who have lost a child-
please hold on to the promise,
one day we will meet him in the air.
Every tear will be wiped away
Every broken heart,mended

Tears of joy and sadness, what a blessing to those kids who will able to live is such an amazing place thought of, constructed and dedicated with the love of Christ. I truly hope that one day I will be able to return to China and visit such an amazing place, to hold and love the wonderful children

It’s been quite a season in the American League, and fans around the league agreed, as they set several records in terms of MLB tickets purchased. They got to see several unbelievable performances, and things are going to get quite interesting in the postseason, even though several spots have yet to be determined. We’d like to get a jump on the media and voters and make our predictions for the AL award winners for 2006.
