Hung out with Doug and Kim this morning. Did a morning show with them on the Fish Nashville and the network they are heard on all across this fine land.
Doug & Kim & I have a lot of history together at this point. Back to mullet days! And I really like going on the show with them, they are easy to talk with and share... Plus they're fun.
However, they do seem to like my wife better. Not sure I like them after all. : )
LOLOLOL Well she IS the great woman behind the man, after all. lolol j/k
Those mullet days seemed much cooler when they were happening, didn't they? lol I remember loving your hair back then. What were either of us thinking? lolol

I think this blog website...I am so happy to hear you are coming out with a new album in October! Wish you would come to Louisville, KY or put on a show next weekend in Nashville (my friend and I will be there -ha!) I am enjoying reading your posts and seeing the pictures.. I like the new song and reminds me to live in the present with the opportunities ahead and now to dwell in the past.....I've been a huge fan for years.. Thanks for taking the time (which I am sure you don't have much of) to post on this website..

Steven,
Not bad at this blogging thing. I hope you find it rewarding...and it's another avenue whereby God can use you to touch other's lives with the love of Christ.
I look forward to keeping up with your blog...as well as your upcoming album in the fall. You are one of the few artists whose work I'll purchase sight unseen (or is that ear unheard) because I know it will be good. Lord bless...Susan

Great to hear your new music.
I'm playing 'Miracle of the Moment' on radio in Perth, Western Australia right now.
I'm sure my listeners will love it as much as I do.

Steven,
I think you are doing a great job blogging! You are so funny and that goes a long way! You are my favorite recording artist. God has used your music to greatly touch my life over the past 15 years or so since I first heard your music as a teenager. Thanks for using your amazing talents for God! I can't wait for your new album! You and your family are in my prayers. Much love from your biggest fan, Heather SLC, Utah

Dear Steven,
I heard your sound, "Cinderella" from the new album you have coming out. I was in tears as my daughter is getting married in 10 days and has been looking for a song to dance with her father. The Album doesn't come out until Oct. Any chance I can get that one song early? God Bless, Liza

Welcome to blog world Steven. There is no failure! Just write whatever is on your heart. I laughed at your "short n sweet, not too deep" challenges ... I have the same ones. Just be you and see what God does! The best thing about blogging is that you get community with it and that things can be 2 way discussions. I look forward to reading more.

Welcome to blogging, Steven! Even though I live in Florida, (and I'm a western Kentucky native!), I learned of your new blog through another blog I read - Rodney Olsen from Australia. I'm fairly new at this, too, but it's a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to reading more from you! Blessings!

Hi Steven -by chance were you at the family fun center near Seattle on Sat. July 14th in the evening? If not this person looked just like you and I would have said hello but thought there is no way you would be in this area. Then I heard on our local Christian station that you had made a visit to the studio. So could this fella at the family park been you??

Loved loved loved you on K-love this AM. Made me late to work but I did not miss the moment of enjoying hearing the stories behind your songs for the new album. Can't wait. Wanted to share a note I put on Mary Beth's blog...please come to Memphis on your tour...
Hey Mary Beth,
I am so glad you started this blog. I met your personal assistant in Destin in June. She is great! She spoke to me because we have a daughter from China who has been home 11 months. She is cleft lip and palate from Shaanxi. We attended an SCC concert in Springfield in March of 2005 and then started the process. We are amazed and in awe of all that you do and have done in the last 6 years...since Shaoey. I still can't read Shaoey and Dot to my daughter without blubbering. Have the 2 of you considered writing a book about your lives and your amazing family? So many people look up to you and I am sure that it would be so inspiring. We live in Memphis...I know the tour is going to Nashville (home) 11/16...that is the last date listed...please tell me he is coming to the Desoto Civic Center? If not, I really want to come to Nashville and need to plan. I hope you can see my website from the link I left...
Also, You guys did a benefit with A Mother's Love in Jan or Feb? You met the Knipe's? Jeff and Debbie. We know them. Our daughter and their daughter are from the same orphanage and they gave you a gift of a bible verse in Mandarin on silk? I am the one who brought that back from Xian and sent some of them to Jeff. When he told me he gave you guys one, I was so honored...then I met your assistant...please e-mail me if you get the chance.
Again, Thanks for being who you are.
You guys are amazing and all of your girls are beautiful. I can't imagine how proud you are of Emily.
