Steven and I head out in a bit to go to the Orphan Summit in Minneapolis to take part in an amazing event. Pray for us as I share and as Steven sings. Trust me, you wouldn't want that the other way around. Steven speaking would go long.....Just kidding....but some truth...but more importantly....Mary Beth Singing would clear the room...quickly! So, I pray we will be a great team as we allow God to pour through the broken places of our lives and let people SEE where He has been working in us. I'm very nervous as I am the Newbie this weekend at WOF in Columbus, Ohio. If you are coming to that event, go easy on me!!! LOL.. Seriously, I am humbled and honored to be a part of this wonderful gathering, but...I'm really operating out of my weakness. I feel that God has this season for me, but I never would have imagined it! Please, pray for me as I have a short amount of time and I long for Jesus to be seen and heard as I share from broken, dark places of my life. I will try and keep you posted, as long as I don't throw up, pass out, or die of heart failure....I could try running away, but Steven would just find me. He IS my biggest cheerleader......did I say YIKES!!!!!

Mary Beth you will do a fantastic job. You are depending on God to carry you and speak through you.....He never fails!!! He will hold you up!! Will be praying.
Blessings

Don't forget "When I am weak, then I am strong." I do some speaking, too, and my hubby is my biggest cheerleader. Isn't it great?

You're precious. And thats a precious picture of you two! I dont know what you are going to say, but I hope to NEVER forget what you said on Larry King Live...something like,'we have hit bottom and found it firm'. Thanks for that!

Prayers as you begin this new adventure. You are gonna be just fine because you are doing this for God, this is not a path you chose on your own! I just read this verse before coming on here. I think its for you, God's power made perfect in our weakness.
"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Oh I SOOOO wanted to go but it didn't work out. Praying for you! God uses our weaknesses, ya know. Go God! I'll be cheering Him on (and you) from afar.

Wish I were going to be there to cheer you on! Bless you, Mary Beth, as you SEE what God will do through you!

Mary Beth,
Please know that you are already in my prayers. I am praying beyond my usual prayer of comfort, strength, and peace for you and yours. I am praying that the Holy Spirit will anoint you with the words those women will need to hear. That women who have been struggling with loss of all sorts will be granted the hope, peace, comfort, and strength they have been searching for, waiting for. I pray that you will have confidence in knowing that God will enable you to stand without physical sickness or weariness, because He will be using you to bring rain to "a dry and weary land." Because you are abandoning "it all for the sake of the call," you will receive a blessing in return that will rain from Heaven above.
Praying for your blessed anointing,
Michele

P.S. Saw your cheerleader last year at the Women of Faith and when they announced that you would be coming with him this year he stood up on the chair raised his arms up and cheered for you.

Mary Beth,
It's amazing that in the places we thought we'd never be, and in the weakest and sometimes ugliest parts of our lives, God shines all the more. A lot of time He chooses to use the weakest parts of us to show how unwaveringly strong He is. We have such a great God!
I wish that you could but step back into our shoes to see the marvelous works God has done through YOU, that we SEE. There are countless women you have ministered to, children saved and in good homes, and all the while- especially your faith in the dark times- you have pointed to Christ. Well done!
This weekend will be great.
Many Blessings,
Elisa

MaryBeth,
Big hugs to you as you guys travel to a new adventure!
Totally understandable to be nervous/apprehensive!
Yikes is right....but please remember & know that you being open to what God is leading you through is in itself a beautiful blessing to all of us!
How exciting and precious to hear you share from your heart!
You are a beautiful mom,wife,daughter,sister,friend...so much to so many! YOU are the gift...just being yourself!
Happy,sad,silly,angry,grateful,hurting...no matter what..He loves you and will be holding you!
If you get the ridiculous or mean spirited from anyone, they are
the exception to what we all appreciate & love about YOU!
Tough to ignore, but not worth a second thought!
You all remain in our hearts and prayers!

Does anyone know what has happened to Jim?
He has not blogged for over 1 month and he's getting slammed because of it on his site.

MaryBeth -
I will be praying for you.Keep prayed up, be open, ask His Spirit to work through you and you will be fine. You rock!
I am sure Steven will be praying for you through his songs as you are up there.
SEE those faces in the audience and know that the Lord has something special to say through you to offer encouragement and comfort to someone possibly in a similar situation as you have been going through the past almost two years.
I will pray for all of the above for you and for His peace and strenght to carry you through.
Lovingly and in Him,

If you want to come to NC to hide out, I'll be your accomplice!!!!
I'm kidding! I'm kidding!
We both know you are smack in the middle of God's will for your life right now, and He's gonna give you everything you need. He may choose to calm your nerves 5 minutes before you are to speak, but I guarantee He will calm them!
Your life is an arrow pointing straight to The Father (Hey Steven, that sounds like a song to me, hint, hint), and I am humbled by the fact that you choose to share your journey with us. You may think you're weak, but you're one of the absolute strongest women I know, solely because of the Rock you're leaning on.
Wish I could be there, but that's not gonna happen. But Kelly (see previous poster) will be there, Lord willing, and if she gets to see you, I hope she hugs you, literally, for all of us. OK, Kelly?
Love from NC.

I'm really regretting that I decided not to attend WOF in Columbus this weekend. :( Just too much else going on right now, but I will be praying for you and thinking of you! You'll be just fine - just talk to the women like you do to us here. :)

Your humble heart will be your strength... God will use you to touch hearts that no one else will be able to touch in the way that you can. Go with God's blessing! Be Brave!

I will be there tomorrow night -- if I don't go into labor between now and then. (Just look for the hugely pregnant woman who's smiling at you from the front. That would be me.)
Praying you will SEE and know God's strength in your weakness, God's glory through your fear.

Mary Beth...I am so excited about what God is doing through you & with you. It's amazing the beauty He can bring out of something broken. I am praying for you as you step out in faith, holding His hand! I wish I could be there to hear you speak...and I hope that I can someday.
In Christian Love,
Vanessa:)
