Every year the first graders decorate a star that best reflects their personality! All 5 of my children have had Mrs. Logan...so this is my 5th star. As you'll see in the picture...She has pictures of family and close friends...along with a couple of special people she has met along the way. It has plenty of gems, glitter, and jewels...along with her gymnastics scrunchy and feathers from a dance recital....Notice the tiara at the top? Yeah that's right....What are we going to be looking at 10 years from now? LOL! My 2 favorite things though....She wanted to be sure a picture of her Great-Grandmother (Granny) was on it....and she wanted pictures of Maria's Big House of Hope and some of her Orphan friends she hung out with while she was there. A cutie patooty for sure....Stevey Joy....Momma Loves you! Also...if by chance you havn't seen the new Maria's Big House Video done by my son, Caleb....check it out @

Congratulations to Stevey Joy on being Shining Star. Ahnalin just started Kindergarten and her class will be doing Shining Stars too. Ahnalin is already collecting things for hers.
And, yes she is also big on the tiaras.

Aw, such a precious masterpiece! :)
My daughter, Zoe, is also turning 10 this week (Tuesday). We're having a party for her tomorrow afternoon in the fellowship room of our church. Will be thinking of little Shaoey and the rest of your friends and family as you all gather for her 10th birthday! :) God bless!

What a treasure! The tiara look very familiar. We went to the BBB in Disney recently and have the same treasure. Funny thing is my daughter wants to share hers next week at school as well. Blessings to your entire family!
