David Trask sent me this from the road. Steven stopped in and did a radio interview and sang "Heaven Is The Face" off of his New CD, due out November 3rd....titled BEAUTY WILL RISE....I hope all of you will be moved by this incredible Journey of Steven's of grief to hope! It is a really beautiful piece of work that will encourage and give hope to anyone who is hurting! I am so proud of him. Thanks so much for the support! We love all of you!

Do you agree that travel must one day revert to being a luxury

Dear Chapman Family,
This song ministers to me so very personally... Please, please consider releasing a version changing references to "girl" to "boy" for me and for everyone who has buried their son.
...Heaven in the face of my little boy...
I change the words as I hear them on the radio and sing along... my heart feeling very blessed that my sweet Baby James is in Heaven... in the very presence of God.
Thank you for ministering in song.

I heard this song on the radio today for the first time and just cried. It's such an incredible song. My heart broke the day your family lost your little girl, and I have prayed for strength and the breath of God in your daily lives since. God bless your family in all that you do.

We heard the new songs at the concert in Hidalgo on the 22nd, it was amazing! We got to meet SCC and we were in tears the whole concert. My birthday was on the 28th neat! My moms birthday is on Nov. 3, so this will be so special cuz she had brown eyes too! We have been listening and loving SCC music since 1989 as well. Your lives have touched so many and we will continue to pray for you all.

The new song really blessed me at the WOF Confrence in Dallas....We lost our baby girl March 26 2008 she was our first birth child she only lived for 15 min. We also have 3 adopted boys and we lost one of them May 6 2003 he was 8 yrs old...I truly feel your pain , but as your Caleb says God is more real than ever. Many Blessings to your precious family. God be with you all. Can't wait for the new CD. Our very talented Praise and Worship leader wrote a beatiful song for our daughter(Novy MaKayla) it is called(Novy Chasing Butterflies)it is so beautiful, he sang it with his guitar at the grave side and then he went to the studio at our church (New Heights Church in Longview Tx.) and recorded it for us, what a blessing. Love the new song! Just saw your twitter, and enjoy yourself! If I were you, I would turn my phone on vibrate (if I even would bring it in the first place), tell the kids to only call in case of emergency, and enjoy the time together as a couple! :)

Mary Beth,
Thanks for the picture and thoughts of yours. I've listened to SCC's music since More To This Life, which was released in 1989....I was eight years old. Although I listen to WDJC, the prominent Christian station in Birmingham, AL, weekly, I always end up throwing my SCC CD's into my DVD player; I actually listen to all but the Christmas albums once a week. Many I know speak of all these artists they consider themselves to be fans of, but I just say, "I guess I'm just star-struck." Many songs heard on WDJC touches my heart, but not the way SCC's music MINISTERS to me, lifting me out of the pits I have been in within the past twenty years. My four year old boys are now worshipping God through SCC's music, most specifically through "Jesus is Life;" they love the "uh, oh, oh, oh" part. I don't know what I will be doing on November 3rd, but I do know that, Lord willing, I will be at Lifeway purchasing Beauty Will Rise to support God's ministry through a man of integrity, SCC.
Prayers for continued peace, direction, and assurance for you and yours,
Michele

My 11 year old son and I heard the new song about Heaven on our way to school yesterday morning when Stephen sang it from the 104.7 studio here in Atlanta.
We both cried.
After dropping him off, I was on my way to wsb radio's station to help answer calls for the Aflac Cancer Center for Children where our 3 year old daughter went through 2 plus years of chemo.
She is now 6 and healed all because of God's mercy.
We plan to share this song with all of the families we know who have children that are in heaven with Maria. It is so beautiful.
Thank you to your family for all you do to help others.
Our continued prayers for strength are with you.
God Bless,
Jenn

The song is awesome and very moving. I first heard it as well as Beauty Will Rise on Youtube when Steven performed it in Abbotsford BC July 27, 2009.
Both of these songs bring comfort also to this grieveing Mom's heart as we just lost our 29 year old son suddenly last week. The phrase "Beauty Will Rise" keeps flowing in my head!
I can't wait to hear the entire CD!

Thanks for passing it on to us Mary Beth!
The cd will be a real gift that you are all sharing! Really looking forward to it! It will be such ministry to so many!!!
Prayers were with you last night when you were to speak.
(Wish I wasn't 800+ miles away)
Prayers continue for all of you!
Hugs, Cindy K,

I haven't heard it yet on my radio station here, but I keep hoping I will soon. Maybe he'll sing it at Women of Faith in Anaheim in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to the new CD.
Blessings to you!
