I am so tired that I can hardly keep my eyes open so sorry for the brevity of this post.....but I wanted to tell you all that we had a great first but hard jet lag day at the Great Wall! As you can tell, the attitudes where great, but near the end of the day, the grumpies started to set in! Sorry that I couldn't bring you all with me. You literally rode a ski lift up, and an alpine slide down. How fun is that? Most of my favorite people in the world all together on the Great Wall! Whoo Hoo. Pray for us as we now head toward Maria's Big House of Hope Dedication Service. Much is going on here that I can't speak of, but there are some needs of prayer here that I can't go into. Nothing too major, but when you deal with China, you deal with plan changes. So, in order for all to go smoothly, which it seems it will, I would appreciate some prayers. None of this has to do with MBHOH, but..... the powers that be here in this country are watching our temperatures, etc. as it pertains to the Swine flu scare. We are not sure where all this will lead with this trip and future trips, but so far all is well. A day at a time is good, I guess that is why God commands us to not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself! I love you all and We most certainly love being here in what Shaoey loudly proclaimed when we landed........"I am here! I am in my Homeland!" She is to funny!
Hugs,
MBC

So awesome! Sweet about her saying I'm in my homeland.........precious

Ok so right now I am trying really hard not to turn green with envy, but it has been one of my dreams to go to the Great Wall of China and then rock little babies to sleep..I know that might sound like an odd dream to most but it sounds like a beautiful one to me =]

Thanks for sharing your pics with us! You must be getting a lot of stares from Chinese people (they're usually really curious about the huge crowd of Caucasians walking around... or any Caucasian for that matter).
Shaoey seems like a cool girl. I'm in awe when I enter the Motherland, and then cry (miserably) when I have to leave...

LOVE Shaoey's enthusiasm for her homeland!! Glad you all arrived safely and without incident form the temperature police. Have a blessed trip and opening of Maria's Big House of Hope! Can't wait to hear more as the days progress. Praying for you all!!

I printed the one of the "Chapman crew" looking "heavenward" as someone said. Very special photo....I think you will agree when you have time to reflect after this trip.
Thanks for keeping us updated! I'm excited for all of you.
