This is the last night of the "United Tour" with MWS, and it just so happens to be in Paducah, Steven's home town. Granny, Steven's 96 year old grandmother won't be able to make the show so Steven and Caleb took the show to her! They visited her in the nursing home and played all the hymns that Granny wanted. Dorothy is her name and she has been and continues to be the prayer warrior/glue, for the Chapman family. She gave Steven a hug to pass on to me, and has promised that if she SEE's Maria before we do that she will hug and kiss her tightly for us and tell her how much we so LOVED her for the time God allowed us to parent her (of course I know that Maria fully understands this now). Thanks for your continued support as May is upon us. So much to grieve and so much to celebrate. I so appreciate you all on the journey with me. Hug your kids tighter today for me and never forget what precious gifts they are from the Father above. 10 days to the wedding!!!!! Can you believe that Caleb is getting married? Stand by for more details coming.

What a sweet photo.
We ARE on this journey right beside you MB. Our prayers will continue to go up everyday.
I remember marking the one year anniversary of my daughters arrival in Heaven....it was a tough day.....but yet the following day I felt like I had survived and was proud and humbled by that.
Praying always.

that is so awesome that Steven & Caleb were able to take some time out to visit 'Granny". I bet they just made her day. I hugged my kids extra hard for you today. Course I never need an excuse to grab em & squeeze. Though my son sometimes wishes I wouldnt lol. Good luck that the wedding ahead goes as smoothly as Emily's did. Hard to believe the little babies I used to see in pictures with Steven are all grown up. Dont forget to hug your own kids extra hard...though I doubt you would. :0)

What a wonderful picture!!! Grandma looks as beautiful as ever. Wonder who enjoyed the concert more...Steven or Grandma??? Thanks for sharing. I assume now that you will not be in Paducah tonight for the concert. Sorry about that. Was looking forward to seeing you. Maybe soon. Know that you all are in our prayers & love you much.

What a beautiful picture.
Mary Beth, you are in my thoughts and prayers often right now. I realized last week that Maria's "homecoming" date is the same as my mom's.
I can't get the rest of my thoughts right, but I'm thinking of you guys alot right now.
Hugs,
Melinda
