It is hard to post pictures of the current snowman without taking a stroll down memory lane to the last little bit of snow we had. Steven was gone and I and the girls along with sweet Melissa took Maria, Stevey and Shaoey out for the building to that gigantic snow man. Today, Dad was home and the snowman reached ENORMOUS GIGANTIC in proportions.....OK...we here in Tennssee are deprived from snow, so you have to make the stories sound good! At any rate, I couldn't post the current snowman pictures without honoring our little Maria who LOVED the snow. Check out this video below....She truly is an angel. I have missed her so much these last few days. I hope this makes you smile, like it does me! Enoy!

What an angel.

We get plenty here and I am one Michigander that likes it! So thankful you have such sweet memories to get you through until you meet again!

What great pics and video to SEE! Praying so much for you lately...just a sick, sad feeling...knowing that mom's heart of wanting to just cup that face again...
When I sent the Christmas card, I didn't know how much Maria loved snow...now I know why the Lord put that card in front of my face...it looked so much like Maria making a snow angel I couldn't resist. I hope it was a SEE moment for you even though you don't know my family...it certainly was one for us. Praising God that even in the midst of our imperfect prayers that their is One who "lives to make intercession for you."

Precious memories!! Thanks for sharing them with us, Mary Beth, especially the video of your little snow angel.
We got 10 inches here on Long Island - glad you and the girls got to enjoy some of the last of winter in Tennesee too!
Peace...

What a sweet video of Maria. I grew up where there was LOTS of snow and my friends and I spent many hours making snow angels. The trick was always getting up without leaving footprints in the middle of your poor angel. It could get deep - 1-2 feet by the time we started making the angels.
We took snow for granted where I grew up - usually had lots of it and green Christmases were few and far between.
The little snowman in the first three pictures is very cute! Had to smile at him 'cause he's SO tiny. Thanks for sharing with us once again. Your family is so special to so many of us. I love that picture of Maria all by herself, looking up at you while you take the picture - so precious!

Sweet!! We actually got 1 whole foot of snow down here in Fayette County,TN. I bet Maria is just smiling away in heaven thinking about all the snow you got. A gentle reminder that she still aroudn in your hearts and minds. Wonder if we get to have snowball fights in heaven????

Blessings to you all.

Haven't been to the website in a few days so the addition of music caught me by surprise. The snow pictures, "500 miles", your joys, and your tears...thank you for sharing the Chapman family's love story, the story of our lives...a husband and wife still madly in love with one another, a father and mother who unconditionally love all their kids, a God, our Father and our Savoir, who loves us all.
As I sit listening to the Chinese chatter of our six year old daughter who came home just over a month ago while she plays in the next room, I want to also say thank you for sharing the ministry of adoption with so many. (She made her first snowman together with her big brothers and sister on Saturday.)
Continuing to pray for your family,
Lara

Mary Beth,
We love Maria's Big smiley face doing - Snow Angel. Your beautiful Angel indeed put a big Smile in our faces.
It seem like the photos you have with Maria was just taken days before the recent photos. These are great cherished memories of you and your three girls! Thank you so much for sharing these precious photos with Maria.
Our hearts truly ache with sadness for you -missing to hold and hug your baby girl.
Altough, we are rest assured that Maria is having a blast with Jesus celebrating her life at the banquet, and as they tread the streets of gold.
Mary Beth - We pray that you, SCC, Shaoey, Stevey, Emily, Caleb and Will find the Lord's loving arms wrap around your family always.
"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation."
~ 1 Peter 1:3
With Much Love and Fervently Praying for you all.

Praying for you all as you gather with others this morning in honor of David's life. I am especially praying for Caleb and Will Franklin, that God gives them the ability to comfort DJ and Dale in this time. I know this will bring back so many memories and images for all of you, but I'm praying that God will wrap His love and strength around the Lipscomb family, your family, and all those in attendance. Will pray, pray, pray at 11 for you all!

Please pray for us. We started our journey to China in April 06 with the paperchase and have now been waiting for 2 years. With the way referrals are coming, we could wait another 3 years. It breaks my heart, but we have decided to pull our dossier. The wait and the expence are just more than we can bear. thank you

Hey MB, I just went to itunes and bought SCC's album All About Love. Don't know why I hadn't bought it before as I have many albums and songs of SCC's. I love the song you have on this blog! I know it's an oldie but the other songs on this album your sweet hubby has written to you. How sweet is that???? 18 years ago we had I Will Be Here sung at our wedding as I'm sure many others have:)
Glad you got to enjoy some snow!! It missed us:(
I hope you are having an awesome "SEE" day!!

Praying for you all if you are going to David's service tomorrow. May your heart overflow with the love of Christ in that church! On the other hand, I know it will be so hard to witness, but there's hope through the pain! Your little angels are beautiful, and Maria's snow angel is perfect!. God bless you this evening. :)

Those are some great pictures of Maria. What great memories you had with her. I have also learned by you all with family and lots of pictures. We must live every day to the fullest as it was our last. We don't know how long we will be on this earth. Only God knows how many days will be on this Earth. He certainally knew about Maria and everything.

Looks like fun! The girls are adorable. We had 9 inches in northern Virginia overnight - I bet Maria would have loved it! God bless you and your family.

Oh, Marybeth, that video is precious. Thank you for taking the time to share it. It seems as if there is a memory for my nephews with everything we do, whether it is the snowman building (thank you Jesus that I took photos) or the carnival at the school we went to yesterday. Last year we did it all together, (7 kids 7 and under, it was great : )). This year only the four kids. It was different, a trip down memory lane, a little hurt and sadness, but continuing to remind myself where they are and where I will be someday. Sometimes, this is all I can focus on to get past the hurt. God heal and encourage you today, In God's Love, sheila
