One other thing here... I've done a lot of tv shows, and there are a lot of fine people producing programming. None finer than these great folks in Dallas, TX. Kudos to Sharon Elmore and her team and of course to James and Betty who always make us feel so at home.

Cinderella gift book gone to press

It's gone to the printer. It's a delightful book. The in store date keeps moving around a bit, I've heard January 8 and I've heard early February too. We'll keep you up to date here.

I think it's more personal than your average gift book, I guess I should have expected that from the Chapmans though. Steven's known in town to go a bit over the top on anything he does, to make it just perfect. This book is no exception in proving that reputation.

Steven really spent quite a bit of time writing his introduction letter and one other page featured here, as well as adding a bit of an unconventional touch researching the various profound quotes that appear throughout the book. And Mary Beth, wow, she also writes beautifully in it, sending a lifeline to moms everywhere. She also worked closely with the excellent designer and editor on the project to make it just so, while SCC was finishing up the tour. I hope you enjoy it!

Sneak Peak at Cinderella

Sneak peak... this is one of the 2 page spreads that is part of the Cinderella gift book launching January 8th and available for pre-order at Amazon.com now. It's truly is a touching book.

As is the convention with these sorts of gift books tied to songs, with purchase, you'll receive the song on CD. Also enclosed, the lyrics of the song highlighted in a thought provoking format, and writings by Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman and some of his fans on how the song has touched them. Additionally, book includes some personal Chapman photos. Plus, in an SCC stroke of genius, he's researched some truly profound quotes on time and children from various sources that you'll find in the book.

By the way, thanks to all those who Mary Beth encouraged, bribed, arm twisted into being a part of Jim Houser appreciation day. Hallmark has been contacted about updating their calendars and a line of cards should be available by 2010. : )

F&F Airing FRI, Album & Tour Out, "Cinderella" book coming in '08

SCC's Faith & Fame is confirmed to air this FRI.

Also, in case this is the first time you've read this blog... :) Steven has a new album out, THIS MOMENT. It seems to be loved by critics and fans alike thus far based on reviews I'm seeing.

As I type, this is the final week of the Live In This Moment fall leg in in progress. We're in progress behind the scenes on the spring run.
