Steven Curtis Chapman is a people pleaser. He knows it... and admitting it is the first step... :-) He's also a man who walks not to fear men and with intentionality to please God but that's a different blog post. :-)
In this case people pleasing is a great thing, he wants to play what you want to hear! We're bringing back request time for SCC. Head to StevenCurtisChapman.com and the tour page now! Just let us know your name, what show you're coming to, and which SCC song you want to hear. Each night will get a custom set, just for your city! based on your requests. Don't. Blow. This. :-) Grab your tickets for the A NIGHT WITH THE CHAPMANS Tour, hit Steven with your request, and he'll be playing your song!
By the way, this blog has moved and new posts will soon no longer happen at this address. Please update your RSS feed, google reader, etc and join us at the new Chapman website blog location, click here.
Great story in Parade magazine this Sunday. Realizing the world goes out beyond people to those who require our protection. "When Love Takes Us In" - has a lot of meaning for all those abused and forgotten dogs and animals who find some one with the heart to take them in without questions or demands.
Thanks for sharing a beautiful lyric that I know must make the Curtis family cry when they hear it. What depth of love!

(My computer wouldnt pull up the link to StephenCurtisChapman.com)....so Im requesting a song here in this comment for the 10/07/10 Nite w/Chapmans in Houston Tx. I hope you can work in This Is My Hearts Cry(I want to know the One who made me and gave me life.....). Its so dear that the Chapmans care for us as individuals. I believe their 'hearts cry' "to be so close to Him that all their life becomes a testimony of their Saviours grace and love"! is happening to them....even strangers can see it. Maranatha
