Still waiting for an update 1 month later.
At least let us know if you still work for SCC or not. Thanks!

I wonder who is really in charge of the SCC Blog Network?
It needs a major overhaul.
Just my opinion.

Wow, really disappointed to read all the attacks on Jim here. Perhaps you all forget that the Chapmans were on vacation a few weeks ago and that Mary Beth has been hard at work on her book. It's not been a busy public season for Steven, so can't we allow Jim some time off during a lull? And perhaps there's been a major personal or family reason for the time away from the blog?
I just know that it's sad to see folks so quickly turning on Jim when he went so far above and beyond what most of us could have asked or expected in the 12-18 months following Maria's death in terms of how he kept us informed about the family, SCC's return to touring, etc.
I would love to see more grace, patience and charity here.
Jim, I'm thankful for you and your ministry, and praying for you and the Chapmans today.

I would love to see more updates here.
Please!

Jim,
Where are you?
I'm scared.

Praying for you, Jim... God bless!

relax folks, he has other artists besides SCC that he handles, not to mention he's also working with Caleb and WIll...oh..an he has a family.
this site is to keep people updated on SCC, he isnt really doing anything for the public at the moment, all Jim could do is show you personal things they are up to...which maybe you haven't noticed, its a deeply personal time for the Chapman family.
so whats to blog about other than what the individual members of the chapmans havent told you or may not want to?

I am echoing karen B's blog here..grace and patience and charity here too, and of course prayers.
love you in Jesus's name Jim.praying for you..God Bless you and thank you for all that you do.

Jim,
SCC is still out in the public eye (regardless of what some posts say) so why aren't you doing anything here lately?
Inquiring minds need to know.

Jim~
DO NOT listen to the negative on here... the negative people need a hobby NOT telling you what to do ;) have a great day come back on your terms when you want, do not give in!

I too hope Jim doesn't come back for a long time. That will show those people who's in control here!
Posted by: Tonya | April 30, 2010 at 06:31 AM
Are you still a promoter for SCC?
Posted by: Rachel | May 03, 2010 at 06:56 AM
Tonya: You comment is ridiculous.
Anne: So is yours.
People are entitled to express their disappointment in the obvius longterm problem of SCC websites and blogs staying dormant for weeks and months on end. I have no hard feelings toward anyone so you'll get no personal attacks toward Jim, etc. from me. But I will admit that as far back as the Speechless days, Steven's sites have been repeatedly neglected and a lot of promises in terms of website features, blog updates, etc. have been chronically broken. The fans are not wrong for expecting something as small as a blog update in exchange for their ongoing financial support of this ministry. Some of you really need to grow up and take the blinders off. Even good men like Steven make bad decisions sometimes. None of us are infallible.

Patience is a virtue. If there's going to be an argument about when Jim posts, then I say he should just take the whole site away. He'll post when he wants to post. If that's today, tomorrow, or six months from now; then so be it. Are we that thirsty for information that we throw ourselves into a temper tantrum when we don't hear something? Keeping up-to-date information can be work, and I'm sure the man has other important matters to attend to than writing something here at the moment. Jim, if they keep complaining, I say just pull the plug altogether. It's not worth it.

There is nothing wrong about complaining here.
SCC is a business and when a customer (fan) has a problem with how a business is being conducted he has a right to speak up. I'm so tired of those that think everything posted here has to be about how great everything is in the world of SCC. And those that say otherwise are just plain evil.

I am so going to buy this shirt when available.

I DISAGREE... some of you people are crazy wanting to know every single detail of SCC, the family, Jim, Grace etc & what they do?? This is a VERY difficult time for everyone involved with SCC with Maria's anniversary coming up. Mary Beth just went through the long/hard process of writing a book. Step back and give this family, Jim and anyone else some air to breath! No one has a perfect life... no one also has the right to think they should know every detail about a family/business.
SCC fan now and always ;) if you miss SCC that much "DIVE" into some GREAT you tube and enjoy until he returns!

Please people, show a little grace. This is a blog. If there is any "NEWS" I'm sure it will be posted. Instead of complaining about a lack of information, pray for the Chapmans as well as the people of Nashville and Middle TN.

The shirt has probably been available for awhile but since Jim hasn't been communicating to us fans for several weeks who will now tell us?
Posted by: Tracy | May 04, 2010 at 10:39 AM
In reality I think we all come here over and over to basically stalk this celebrity family. They in return oblige us by posting all kinds of details about their lives.
They want us to think about them often though we never cross their mind. They know nothing about us and never will.
So it's only natural to become irritated when no more details are being shared in this one-sided "relationship" especially when no explanation is being given.

Oh wow - LOVE that shirt! thanks for posting the pic, Jim - it's awesome! Can't wait to get one. :)

Anyone associated with SCC please feel free to jump in and tell us what is going on here.
(The natives are getting restless if you haven't noticed)
Thanks.

Since Jim has disappeared is there anyone else that can take over?
Just wondering.
Posted by: Linda | May 06, 2010 at 11:29 AM
It has been bothering me to think that so many people think they are ENTITLED to Jim's attention. Yes, he is an employee of SCC, and as such, should keep us apprised of details, such as touring and appearances. If you check the "Touring" and "News" buttons on SCC's page, you will see that all of that pertinent information IS there. HE IS DOING HIS JOB! The blog is a gift, not an burdensome responsibility.
Please stop harassing him. He is not obligated to share every detail of their lives. He has gone above and beyond the call of the average artist's management! When the Chapman's lost Maria two years ago this month, Jim was faithfully keeping us informed of HOW WE COULD BE PRAYING for them.
This is not a forum to bash the man who has been so gracious to us as fans. He is obviously very a busy man! He not only attends to SCC, Caleb & Will, but Brandon Heath, Robbie Seay Band and Brit Nicole. He also handles many authors; one Mary Beth Chapman, included! (see www.creativetrust.com)
I suggest you may want to find additional interests to fill your time. Continuing in prayer for these dear brothers and sisters might be a start...
