I just finished listening to the album. Wow. That's really all I can say.
And tell Steven "thank you". I'm just entering the hardest month for me in my own journey of grief as the anniversary of my father's death approaches on the 19th. I have never been able to make it through a November without being bruised and battered and thrown into a place beyond functionality. Because of this album, I feel like I have hope this November. It came just at the time when things began to get really hard (kicking off the month with All Saint's day isn't a great way to go for me.) and the encouragement that this album has brought to me is beyond words. God's timing is perfect.

hey Jim, already logged in to the cast. My question is one that no one else will care about but Iwas wondering if he still has the picture I drew of him back when I was in high school in 1993. I framed it n gave it to him at an appearance @ Kmart (haha). My sn on the live chat is stvnfn69. Hope he can answer it & that I dont miss the answer lol.

This is unquestionably Steven's most personal CD, heartfelt, touching,( cried listening to "See") painful, yet hopeful - (Beauty Will Rise)( Spring is Coming). You aren't likely to find any single on K-Love,- still don't understand why they won't play "Heaven is the Face" but this is a MUST HAVE CD for your CD collection

Trying to get my facebook going so I can listen.

You just be yourself & all will be well!
Your caring heart will make it great!
Hugs,

So many questions! I'll give you a few we'll see if any get used; I'm sure the time will fly! Will there be any vidoes with this album? I see he will be doing Larry King's heros show; have they remained in contact and will there be another interview any time soon? I know most of the album is dealing with the grief of the loss of Maria, but I wonder about the stress and feelings of parenting the youngest three with what they went through/saw that day--any comments? With Caleb seeming such a spiritually mature young man why did he wait to be baptized until the day before his wedding? How has the family done today emtionally with all of the focus on the album and stirring so many feelings?
I understand if he chooses not to answer any of them , but looking forward to whatever he chooses to share twenty minutes from now.
God Bless,
Nancy (thankfulndw)

Jim, anything you can do about the streaming problem on the webcast?
Posted by: Michelle L., Springfield, MO | November 03, 2009 at 09:15 PM
This is SO, so, SO great! THANK YOU for making this happen. Praying for you both as this special event continues on. Really glad that you're hosting, Jim! :o)
By the way...glad to hear that Steven will tour this album. I would love a kind of acoustic evening like Steven seemed to be describing. I've longed for a tour like that with him for years! :o)

Thanks for doing this chat tonight, Jim! Any chance it'll be posted on YouTube afterward since the livestream thing doesn't seem to be working so well? If not, that's okay. I thought I'd at least ask. : ) I've prayed and prayed and prayed for all of you in the past year and a half.

Thanks Jim, that was great.
My 8 year old daughter wanted to post a question but we were unable to, she had asked" How did it feel to go back on stage after Maria died?"
We love all of you and continually praying for you.

I second (or maybe third or higher) putting the live chat on YouTube. General Colin Powell came to the University of Delaware tonight to speak, which was awesome. But, sadly, I didn't get home in time to see Steven's live chat.

Sorry I missed it! Our power went out here in N. Africa, so no internet last night. Boohoo. But I did listen to the entire album 4 times and am filled with thanksgiving and awe at the Lord's grace to Steven and family, and so filled with hope in God's promises. WOW. What an incredibly deep and honest blend of pain and faith, sorrow and hope. Beauty Will Rise has ministered to me deeply and I plan to share it with many!

Although I missed the livestream, I have really enjoyed reading a long interview with SCC that's online at Christianity Today. It definitely gave me a lot of insight into the album and how the Lord has met Steven in the midst of such deep grief and darkness. MUST READING!

Hi Jim,
I went to our WalMart today (11/4) in Maplewood, MO and was devastated to learn that the new CD did not come in their music shipment yesterday! The gentleman working in the music dept. said he did not know why they didn't get it. I hope it comes soon!
Thought you might need to know this--Thanks for all you do! God Bless You! --Ann
