Where will you be November 3rd at 10p ET / 9p CT / 8p MT / 7p PT ?
You need to be http://www.facebook.com/stevencurtischapman. Live web video chat from Steven's home studio The Laundry Room. Don't miss it.
In preparation for said chat... how about posting some questions for Steven here in the comments? Please also post that night.
(And, sometimes prior to a video feed starting, there is a need for testing. So hey... if you slip in a question or two for the manager, we might test the feed prior to start time by answering one or two of those too.)
Steven....How did you feel SEEing your boys perform for the first time without you? I am sure they will do great. God has truely blessed them with an amazing talent too. Also, we adopted our little girl from Kazakhstan in 2005, she is now 5 1/2 and wondered how you felt the first time you saw Shaoey,Stevey Joy and Maria? Did you heart skip a beat? Praying for you and your family always. God bless your ministry.

STEVEN READ THIS!I am soooo incredibly excited about the live chat tonight!! I've been waiting since Thursday when I received the e-mail! My question is....well its actually a statement. You should come to Rappahannock Church of Christ in Warsaw VA. We don't get much attention out there and it is where I live so it gets rather lonely. I absolutely love your music and I think you should grace my church with your presence. My dad is the associate minister. He actually introduced me to you when I was six. You've always been my favorite. I only got to see you twice in concert. But I've never ever met you. I wanna meet you really bad. It would be a blessing to meet with one of the people I look up to so often. Your strength and courage astounds me. You are an incredible person. You have an incredible family and an incredible faith. So awesome. Ok, my question is: So, when are you gonna come to Warsaw? It is ok if you don't. but I had to post a question so you could answer it. Oh, and can you say "hi" to me tonight? My name is Katherine Ward. Thank you Steven Curtis Chapman! You're awesome!
Grace and Peace

MY QUESTION FOR STEVEN...
I have been blessed to see both the United Tour in Long Beach, CA and WOF in Anaheim, CA this year! (I share your love of In-and-Out Burger... #2 with onions and iced tea! ;-) It was great to see Will joining you and Caleb in Anaheim... I am thrilled to hear that Mary Beth will be joining you on the next Women of Faith tour "Over the Top" Can you tell us a little bit of how that will take place? Will you share the stage or will MBC speak and you sing? Curious and excited to see how that will work!
Your journey has helped me and my family deal with tragedy in our own lives since my husband was in a plane crash a year ago this Thursday. While he spent three weeks in the hospital in Missouri, your music was a constant companion... I listened to "Last Day On Earth" among others on the plane while flying to be with him. Thank you for your Godly example of talking to Him without mincing words and asking the tough questions. Praise God, Len is now walking short distances even though he deals with tremendous pain daily.
Can you update us on the condition of Patsy Clairmont's son, Marty... last we heard he was in a medically induced coma with pneumonia in both lungs due to Swine Flu. Praying!! Have you gotten to know any of these precious ladies on tour?
MY THANKS TO JIM...
We could not have bonded so closely as a group of "fans" (more like family!) without YOU!! One dear reader, Cory, even developed the "SCC Blog Family" website all due to the tender way you brought the Chapmans needs before us as they came up. I am now blessed to feel I have more extended family praying for ME (and I for them) because of this bond!
SENDING LOVE TO ALL MY FELLOW CHAPMANIACS & TWEETMANS!

My question for Steven:
I'm a songwriter myself just beginning to get my feet under me. When I write, it's an amazing process where I feel like the words coming out of me are not completely my own, and I don't know where they come from. I love writing, but I also tend to go through long periods of writer's block. I've had times where I've tried to write something every day but what I've written always sounds stilted and forced because I wasn't "feeling it". Did you go through this process as a young songwriter? Did it take you a long time to get to the point where you could write constantly? How did this process develop for you?

Question for Steven - Any thoughts about doing an intimate, acoustic tour( just you and your band) from this CD added in with other songs from previous CD's with the proceeds going to Maria's House of Hope?

Steven -
Question 1 - You've written some classic songs. What's one song that you didn't write that really inspires you, and you wish you had written?
Question 2 - Old school question. Did you ever perform "Higher Ways" in concerts? Of all the well known songs you've written, it's one of the "lesser known" songs that really impacted my life.
Thanks!
Kevin

My questions for SCC:
1. Do you still know BillY? (You know, the very busy man.)
2. What's the story behind "Children of the Burning Heart"? I LOVE that song!
3.How many guitar strings have you broken?
4.What passage of scripture has impacred you the most?
Thank you so much for all the songs you've written for God that have impacted my life. I've been listening to your nwe album all day and I love it!
Keep on glowing in the dark,
Elora
