It was a huge day yesterday in the life of the manager of Steven Curtis Chapman.
A cd of music now filled. & look closely friends. This photo tells you a lot. There is now an album title for Steven's upcoming release.
This is the disc I handed off to a key label guy last night around 10p. Oh yeah, it looks as though we have landed on our label home for the next project too.
Shortly ill be able to show you the album cover and announce a release date.
Is your heart beating a little faster and is there a smile on your face thinking about new music from SCC? Me too. : )
I am trying to eamail The Chapman family, so I thought I would try this one as well. I have not got a response, but I did not realize you kind of have a lot going on here. Congrats on the music!! I am looking for some genuine family and biblical advice from such a admiring family full of love and the Lord. We are thinking about going through the adoption process but have some minor questions we were just looking for some trusted answers on. We live in a small town and my husband is the police chief and has been in law enforcement for over 20 years and we have 1 salary. We have 4 little ones under 6 and would like 1 more. We are just looking for some siple trustworthy advice, please help! Thanks so much for your time!

Hey, Jim!
YEAHHHHHH!!!!!! It's always exciting to be looking forward to more music from my favorite artist! This one, though will undoubtedly be even deeper and more touching than any before...and I didn't think that was possible. I look forward to "Beauty Will Rise" with great expectation.

I can't wait! Thanks for sharing this with us, Jim. Love the title- how appropriate! I'm sure the songs will be absolutely amazing but I'm sure I'll be shedding lots of tears, knowing the journey the Chapmans have been on for the last 14 months!
Now about those Cinderella dolls Mary Beth and Grace gave us sneak peaks of? Any hints? Any word? The ladies said to keep an eye on your blog and I'd LOVE to know more!

Love, love, love the title! Can not wait to hear the songs that I'm positive will minister to all of our hearts. I'm sure the songs will be real and full of questions, longing, raw emotion and, best of all, hope. Looking forward to hearing it soon. God bless you, Steven, and your family for your transparency and willingness to live out your faith in public. We are encouraged because of you.

HURRAY!!!! I'm curious though....what happens with that CD once the album is out? Is there a vault of the demos or do they make it to eBay? Something? I would love to hear the unfinished songs sometime! I think it would be similar to hearing a Live or the Abbey version....just something slightly different! Thanks for sharing!!

Oh, I can't wait to hear all the special moments God talked and breathed into the whole Chapman family through this upcoming CD.
It is so the Lord. How in our difficult moments, God brings us to our knees in worship and singing. I know God is not done with the Chapman family, nor is He done with any of us and our ministries. He IS still working.
I look forward to see what God IS going to do.

My ears are already wondering what it will sound like. I am very excited for SCC and am anticipating this to be the most compelling and best album to date (which is VERY big considering past projects).
Thanks for letting us know. I will be one of the first for pre-order (as long as I can get it delivered to me on the release date!) If not, I will be in line to buy at my local Christian Bookstore.

Fantastic Jim, thank you for sharing. It can't come soon enough for me. The community overseas where I work has been shattered by the brutal murder of one of our colleagues and friends 3 weeks ago...
I have to testify that my involvement in praying for SCC & MaryBeth and their family in the past year and reflecting on grieving has helped me cope in these days.
Once again, I sense that Steven's songs will be just what I need at just the right time.
I will be praying MUCH for all that needs to happen until this new CD is available. Thanks for letting us know Jim!
