Max & Steven television special set to debut tomorrow night

Max Lucado and Steven have partnered together for a television special highlighting the message of the the Gospel. I understand it is scheduled to air tomorrow night on TBN, seen nationally on most cable systems.

Check your local listings and tune in or set the tivo. The scheduled time I'm hearing is 9pCT.

Dove Balloting, This Year Your Vote Counts Too

As a GMA member for something like 14 years now, each year I've had the honor to vote with my peers in the Dove balloting process. It's something I take very seriously and count a real privilege.  

This year... you can also join the ballot!  For the first time ever, the GMA and Gospel Music Channel are inviting fans into the process, to enable your voice to be heard, in the New Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year categories.

So, when our peer voting starts voting on February 26th, so does your chance to vote.  Fan voting will count for 1/3 of the vote. More details to come soon! And we'll need you! Steven is in the Artist of the Year category!

Dove Nominations are in, 4 Nods for SCC

It's started as a small banquet with 11 awards in 1969, this year the 40th Annual Dove Awards will air live nationally available in 43 million households on the Gospel Music Channel at 8p ET on April 23rd. 

There will be a new facet to the show this year, fan voting! Fan voting will be added to the peer voting in the Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year categories. And were going to need your help! Steven is nominated in the Artist of the Year category!! More info soon!! 

He's also up for Dove honors in the song of the year category for "Cinderella" and song of the year for "You Reign," as well as contemporary pop recorded song of the year, "Cinderella."

Later this morning in Nashville, TN, the 40th Annual Dove Award nominees will be announced.

Then, we'll find out who the trophies go to when the Gospel Music Channel airs the show live on April 23rd.
