JIM, You are the man! How cool!
I appreciate your humbleness....but know that you are important for WHO you are not just WHAT you do. I think this is an awesome opportunity for you. Congrats!

Remembering that God is STILL God,

Jim Houser

Live Interactive Interview

Jim Houser is scheduled for a Live Interactive Interview on January 29, 2009 at 9pm Eastern. Jim is a Partner at Creative Trust Entertainment and Literary Management. He is also responsible for the day to day management of Steven Curtis Chapman.

“Part of a team of people, I’m Jim Houser, responsible for day to day management of Steven. I’d roughly define that as serving Steven, where he was 20 minutes ago to anywhere he will be in the next 2 to 5 years. I like it best when I accomplish this unseen.”

WE think you are a genius! :-)

valerie (in TX)

ok, I'm a bit "ObscureGenius" challenged....if I've signed up to receive their newsletters, does that mean I'm "registered" for Jim's interview? or is registering for the interview a separate process? help me, bloggy friends! :o)

Pearl

Hi, Valerie--I "registered" a while ago and today I got an email with a link:

http://obscuregenius.com/house-mix/

which includes a phone number "to listen live by phone"

and also 3 links "to listen live via web":
Flash Player
Windows Media
Pop-Up Player

Hope this helps!

valerie (in TX)

yes, that does help - thank you Pearl!

Pearl

You're very welcome, Valerie!

Cool, I just happened to log in to the blog just now, barely in time (minutes away) from the beginning of the webcast. This should be fun!

Thanks for letting us know, Jim!

Hey Jim...I understand what you mean about losing your dad... my dad past away 3 weeks ago...I'm 18. he's been really sick for the past few years...
the hardest thing has been dealing with my little sister, who is 8 years old. is the day after he passed away, she was crying, i think she had stubbed her toe, and started crying for dad, and asking why God couldn't just fix him and send him back.

Listening now! This is great to get to hear your voice and get a peek at all that you do from your perspective... : )

Interesting to hear you talk about Steven's Declaration tour and the Jim Elliot story. That was an unforgettable experience. I'm so glad that you all supported Steven's vision on that one!

Thank you Jim for sharing with us tonight! I can't wait to hear the next installment. I have a Katie also, she's 7 and loved hearing your Katie on the radio. My husband is a sports broadcaster and she listens to him on the radio every ball game.

Thanks again!

Kim

Did I hear that Steven is writing/has written a book?

Jim, you have to take up the offer about coming back on the program. You were incredible, and God was completely in that conversation. :)

OK I tried to listen in tonight but the website said to click on the play button but there was no player to do it. I am usually decent with computers but tonight was completely challenged. I hope I can listen in on this wonderful interview.

I did get an email reminder for this but that was it. Was I supposed to sign up for something else to have access??
