Mary Beth shared several pictures on her blog. And here's a link to an article in our hometown paper, The Tennessean. The Jonas family has been so kind to the Chapmans in this difficult year and we appreciate the guy's introduction of Steven as "their new best friend."  : )

He's writing again

I had a brief meeting with Steven on Thursday. It ended with him playing me parts of 3 songs up in The Laundry Room, his studio. I offer photographic proof of just how cool my job is.  : )  

No plans or a timeline on a future release currently, but you readers of the StevenCurtisChapman.com blogs will be the first to know.

Rocky Start to '09 for House Mix

So since 2009 has started, its been a bit rocky. This blog isn't about me, but I feel compelled to explain my absence.

My Grandmother passed away and I flew to NJ to attend her funeral. She was an amazing lady I loved very much and it was hard to say good bye, but she had a rich 91 years and I will see her again.

I've been sick twice already, the second time with a serious stomach flu that took me down 8 or 9 pounds and out of it for almost four days.

And upon my return to work today, hoping to have a repaired Mac at my desk (it crashed while I was ill) instead it crashed again, (logic board failure plus) and will likely need to retired.

That said, I nor Steven have retired. Good things are ahead this year friends! Bear with me as I get back on track. And thanks for missing me. : )
