I can't wait to hear the announcement!!

Okay, I am going to guess the announcement....the first person that posted to this blog gets a private SCC concert for her church family. Who was the first to post? Me!! Hey, I can dream can't I?!?!

Well, it probably has to be professional related, so maybe a live streaming of the benefit this weekend for Shaohannah's Hope? ;)

I love surprises!!

Okay, my first class is at 9:30, so hopefully I can learn what in the world this is about before then! Otherwise, concentration in all my classes can go out the window!!!
Something cool, something to do with the website, and something that is apparently of urgent importance... Can't wait! : )

Jim -
I'm not sure how to get a hold of you. I'm new to the site and I can't seem to get to the CONTACT PAGE. I'm a teacher for Community Bible Study's Junior Class (4th and 5th graders) out here in Southern CA. We'd like to perform the song, "This Baby," for the moms on December 3rd. Can I print a copy of the lyrics for the 22 children? Can I copy the song from my CD for these 22 children? I can have them return the CD copies after the performance, and I will destroy them. Please let me know what I can do. We definitely want to be holy and blameless in how we handle this. In addition, I have been unable to find an accompaniment track for the song. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for your response.

Can't wait to see what the surprise is!

I am betting it has to do with Veteran's Day, particularly in light of what was said at the Bethesda United Concert after they visited Walter Reed. Just my guess though.

In suspense.....

AUCK.....9 is not early. And especially not when you have an hour time difference. AUCK. We love you, Jim.....thanks for keeping us informed!
Hey, ya'll.....Christmas is just around the corner....are you thinking of our buddy, Jim????

I don't want to burst Jim's bubble, but he had a post up earlier about the Compassion Art project. That entry is now gone and I'm not sure what that means, but I'm assuming everything is still on, and it makes me SO excited! I'm just as giddy as I was when I found out about the United tour.

Joyce,
You should find the "Ask Jim" posting on here and post your question there....you'll be sure to get to him that way!

Benefit concert for Shaohannah's Hope?
Putting a poll up on the main web-site asking which number 1 song people like most, then re-releasing it on a future album? ;)
A cookbook? (sorry, you used the line "something cool cooking here" and I couldn't help myself! :)
I'll tune in to StevenCurtisChapman.com around 9 a.m. CT to check it out!

Oh, hey everyone, one other thing.....did you read the CompassionArt site? I love all those guys (and gal) on there, but I think it's funny when you know the numbers.....between SCC and MWS, I wonder how many of those stats are nearly totally theirs? I don't mean that disrespectfully AT ALL, so I hope it doesn't sound like that....

Can't wait to hear...
Posted by: Amy | November 11, 2008 at 08:17 AM
Tanya ~ just what I was thinking! :) The Compassionart site says there are 98 Dove Awards between all the artists....and 54 of them belong to SCC! *big smile* I agree with you - that is not meant disrespectfully to the other artists - obviously they are all awesome to be included in this project - but SCC has just been doing his great work for a lot of years!
