Thanks, Jim!

Thanks for sharing! Will have to go check it out.

Thanks for sharing Jim. I am glad that you are respecting their privacy. This shows your loyalty to this family and that means a lot. You are awesome Jim!

Thank you for the continued updates. This family is so loved by so many and still prayed for. Will you let them know that there are still many who are praying for them? We have not forgotten and share in their loss. I remembered them in prayer many times Saturday, and continue to do so. Now that the busyness (is that a word?) of the wedding preparations are done and things seem to go back to "normal". They are not forgotten. Pray on, we must.

hehehe Jim ;) Was better getting the news first hand from You & Grace :D I'm sure thankful I am recieving the feeds to your blog!!! Thanks again... Also thankful to "People" Mag for seeing this event kewl enough to include in their mag!!! (Way to go Steven ~ NICE pic) :)

So glad that People is continuing to give SCC exposure for the rest of the world to see. Thanks for posting the link!

Jim,

Thanks for sharing. I would've never stumbled across that on my own. I am laughing at the small ceremony that requires 500 programs myself. I guess it's a different reality.... :-) I look forward to the day that they bring home a little Chinese princess. (Yes, yes, I know you have to be 30 and they are still babies......but still it'll be so incredible!)

Blessings!

It was a busy and prayer-filled weekend, this is my first time signing on here in some time. Jocelyn, your friends (who lost their daughter a year ago) are in my prayers, as are Melissa's friends with the marital problems. And of course for Emily and Tanner, may they be blessed with a long and blissful marriage.

I have to say, I am almost relieved that there are no wedding pictures here. It was fun to read about the preparations and who would be doing what, but the actual service itself is such a holy and intimate sacrament, I am glad it is private (at least for now!). God bless this lovely young couple, and be with their extended families (who are probably exhausted!).

Have a blessed week, everyone.

Ann from Chicagoland (and still a Cub fan)

Thanks for sharing the People Magazine article with all of us Blog-aholics : ) It just continues to amaze me how the non believing media since Maria's Home going has just grabbed on to the Chapman story and wants to continue talking about SCC and his continued healing process!!! PTL!!! Maybe some of those people will except Jesus because of it!!! Not that I think that delving into the Chapmans private lives all the time is a good thing but... God can and will use what ever He can to spread the Holy Word out there for people. Please tell the Chapmans that I am praying for them today. Thanks, In Christ, Anna H.

That is so awesome that People magazine did that article!

Ps-when I was at Lowes this weekend, they were playing Steven Curtis Chapman music on their main speakers!! How neat is that!!!

Very good article...thanks! I appreciate your protecting Emily and Tanner's privacy. They are due their privacy like anyone else who marries...

that is so awesome how people.com keeps up and publishes whats going on with the Chapmans!
thanks for the updates and protecting the family. i know i'd love to see some pics, but that should be up to Emily and Tanner for sure. they deserve to be normal newlyweds

That's a nice article. Very tastefully written. and great photo of Steven. Thanks for the link and heads up, though we all here were already in the know ;-) tee hee!

Praying that God continues to plant seeds and thank you to you and all the Chapmans for their openness and willingness to be vulnerable in front of the camera. It's hard enough to go through that kind of hurt, but to allow it to be in the public eye is a whole other realm. It's amazing, and yet so consistent with the ministry all these years that has kept its purpose to point others to our loving Father. Thank you.

and still praying...

be blessed!

Thank you for sharing with us Jim!

I heard a song yesterday called "Held" by Natalie Grant. I immediately thought of the Chapman family, particularly Mary Beth. Perhaps you're already familiar with the song, but it was new to me and I wanted to share it. I found it extremely comforting in the wake of my own loss and pray it brings you comfort as well.

Thanks Jim. I'm sure the wedding was beautiful.

I saw a couple pictures yesterday, and I completely agree that the bride was beautiful and Tanner had the biggest spark of excitement in his eyes. I do hope that Emily will one day share them; simply because they are a beautiful couple, but I appreciate what you, Jim, and Grace Graham are doing by letting them decide. Now let's work on Caleb and Julia! ;)

I spent all day Saturday thinking of the Chapman family. What a bittersweet time it must have been for them. I saw a picture of the newlyweds online posing with the Chapman family and everyone looked so gorgeous. I can't wait for Emily to release official photos though, if and when that time comes. I will think of the Chapman's daily as their new normal continues to set in. Congratulations Emily and Tanner!

Sorry but this link only takes me to Peoplemagazine.com and I am not able to find the article at all! Anybody know the right link to get to this article?

Found it....thanks!!!

Melissa, once you click on the link, you have to go to the very bottom and click next page until you get to October 6 at 3:50pm...hope this helps.

I want to thank everyone for praying for my family member with the marriage problems. A friend just shared with me about a book from the movie "Fireproof" that I am going to share with my family member. Here is a link if anyone is interested... http://www.bhpublishinggroup.com/lovedare/
Once again, I am so thankful for the Body of Christ!!
