Headed to Airport
SCC airport pick up on an early morning today. Headed to NYC for an appointment, and then Boston later today for tonight's show.
Hoping for a nap later. : ). Of course, SCC is a trained professional, no worries.

Off Day, Not So Much
SCC jumped off the bus this morning to do a few meetings on the future.
1/2 day off today then. : ). Off tomorrow, then back out Wednesday.

Check out the cover girls on Homelife Magazine this month. I don't recall the exact timing surrounding this article, but i believe it is another example of the family keeping commitments made, even in difficult circumstances.

Bus Call Tonight

Meet The United Tour Team. Bassist Brent Milligan
The band and crew on The United Tour are a combination... "a uniting" if you will... of the amazing talent in both camps. The bassist on the tour is Brent Milligan.
Brent is Switzerland. : ) What i mean is, he has played for both Steven and Michael, most recently filling in for SCC when our regular bass player Adam Nitti has other commitments.
Milligan is also... how should I put this... Freakishly Talented. He is an amazing player, a first call session player (check your album credits) Get this though... he doesn't just play bass, he's freakishly talented at multiple instruments... bass, and all sorts of other string instruments. (and tennis rackets) I think he can play keys too. He's also currently producing records.

Meet The United Tour Team. Keys Jim Daneker
The band and crew on The United Tour are a combination... "a uniting" if you will... of the amazing talent in both camps. The keyboard player and band leader on the tour is from Team Smitty, Jim Daneker.
Jim does programming and arranging when he's not on the road with Michael W Smith, and now The United Tour. When I Michael's manager and I were going over the team, he described Jim as "a total pro that's been with Michael for a longtime." Here's the problem with that statement... Jim doesn't look like he's more than 25 years old. :)
I've only had limited time to get to know Jim, but I'm so impressed with what he's thinking about and talking about in devotions and catering... just a cool guy who can really play.
And most of all... he's done a great job preparing the guys from each side of the United equation and has been key in helping them come together as an amazing unit of players.
