i am crying tears of joy for you all.
what an awesome testimony!!
God is good...all the time

thanks so so much jim

I am having a hard time leaving this site tonight......I am glad the show is going well.

Still praying.

THIS CONCERT is YOURS!!!!!!!!

Praying for Will and Caleb - God is good! He will hold them up!

Jim,

Please do not stop the updates - we are praying for you all!

Thank you God for the message everyone is hearing from Steven!

WOW! Thank you for the wonderful updates! It just makes me cry to know that everything they do from here on out is for Jesus and Maria.

I know they are hurting, but they are being obedient to God and doing what He has called them to do-spread the Word through music. Many will be saved, many will be adopted and so very many lives will be changed.

Thank you Jesus for continuing to hold, guide and protect this precious family!

Love you!
Cynthia Y.

Wow! Praise to Him who gives them strength to stand on that stage! Thank you, Jim, for allowing so many to "be there" this way! I expected a wrap up, but not a play by play. Praying on for each and every song they will be singing-a difficult but inspired set, I know. God will continue to bless this family's obedience and decision to praise in the midst of their pain. We look forward to the day(s) of redemption for the Chapmans!

Rock hard for Maria and for Jesus!

With hope,
Anna

OH MY WORD! Was just sitting here praying for another friend in a hard time and now this. May the God of strength and mercy be their shield and the lifter of their heads!

Thank you for keeping us up-to-date. It's truly amazing considering. We are praying!

Dear Heavenly Father, please give them the
foundation they need to continue on their
walk through life with you walking beside
them. Hold them ever so tightly.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

Praying for Mary Beth, Emily, Shaohannah, and Stevey Joy while Steven and the boys share the WORD!

Thanks for the regular updates this evening - Steven, the boys, Mary Beth, and all of you have been in my thoughts and prayers all night.

Jim, you are the best. More than we out here in blog land could ever could have hoped for. You're awesome...thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you to everyone posting tonight for Steven!
Across the miles we are all united in His Love!

WOW!

Thank You Jim! I think this blog is as much for you as for us! :)

God Bless and may He grant you all blessed and peaceful sleep tonight.

Was just driving home from a family birthday dinner and heard a "Steven song"- remembered what was happening (right at that moment, I'm sure) and started praying. Please keep the updates coming- as someone else has said, it doesn't matter that I've never met a single member of the Chapman family- they're still part of my family. God is victorious in this situation, and I look forward to hearing the stories of His victories tonight!

"You are Being Loved....." those are the lyrics passing through my head this minute. My prayers have been and will continue to be with the entire Chapman family, those on tour and those at home. I was hoping to show my support at the Fremont, NE concert Sunday night, but it has sold out. Please know that I will keep this summer tour in my prayers, and I pray that each and every one involved on tour and at home will gain strength each day through God's mighty hand. He definitely has a purpose through all of this, and he is using his obedient servant, Steven, to share HIS WORD.

"You are Being Loved" in Iowa!!!

Continuing to pray through the tears in Georgia.
God bless you, Chapman Family and you too, Jim.

Isaiah 44:8 says, DO NOT TREMBLE AND DO NOT BE AFRAID; HAVE I NOT LONG SINCE ANNOUNCED IT TO YOU AND DECLARED IT? AND YOU ARE MY WITNESSES. IS THERE ANY GOD BESIDES ME, OR IS THERE ANY OTHER ROCK? I KNOW OF NONE.
These young men have and will continue to have a tremendous testimony to how good God is!
Blessings and prayers from Holyrood, Ontario.

Thank you for all the updates! God is SO good!!

Praying they are "feelin' the luv" coming through that crowd, straight from God Almighty!!!

God is so good. It brings me so much joy to see these pictures. Thank you for keeping us updated, it helps with praying. I kiss my 2 year old son everyday one extra time for Maria. We pray for the Chapmans during our bedtime prayers and I pray for them throughout each day. Maria's LIFE has made me pray more than I have in a long time. We have a heart for adoption and are praying for God's blessing to do so. I am just so touched.

God is so good and loves us so much. Even when we ask why. With love from Louisiana

Beauty from ashes............it's a beautiful sight to see them back onstage! Thank You, Lord for giving them strength to carry on.

To GOD be the glory!!! Thank you, Jim, for taking time to include all of us - we've been praying and will continue.
The Banks Family

Okay so I'm sitting here laughing and crying and just praising God. He answered our prayers and just loved on them tonight. It's official, Wisconsin is my new favorite state and their residents are my new favorite group of people.

I had been praying throughout the day and into this evening. Asking God to give them strength and to encamp them in his love and to let them feel his strength and love coming from the audience. He answered in full measure.

Jim, you are a faithful servant and a great guy. Thank you so much for including us on the outside looking in on all of this. My heart still breaks for them and yet somehow I know, that the beauty that is rising up from the ashes, even as we speak, is going to be unbelievable.

Christ was honored tonight in a powerful way. Maria Sue Chapman was honored tonight and Steven and family were shown how much they are loved and how strong the bond of the family of God is.

May all the praise, honor and glory go to God who has all things in His hands.

In His Grip

What a picture of God's mercy and grace. Thank you for the updates, I have prayed through each of them.

My husband and I prayed for the family and whole SCC team tonight. It is amazing what the Lord is doing and will do...Blessed be His name!

Thank you for the updates. We are praying. God has amazing plans for this family! May God be glorified!!!

Oh and one last comment before I head to bed. For all you prayer warriors, May I say that you completely rock. I am honored, priveledged and humbled to be in a family with such amazing people.

Blessed be God's glorious name!
Rene

Thank you so much for the updates... especially today.
They have all been in my thoughts and prayers.
It's so nice to have a visual and the insiders view to all that is going on.
Continuing to pray.
Thanks again.

I had to be out of the house all afternoon and night tonight for a church event, but was praying the whole time. I was hoping when I came home there would be *A* post. But this many posts?! You da man, Jim. :) I was thinking also of how the previous SCC website was nice, but not nearly as personal. Also about "The Voice" that you heard. God knew He would use you through this new website for His glory. It was all set up ahead of time. This kind of communication didn't happen with the old site. It has been absolutely wonderful to be able to pray so purposefully for all of you and for us to be able to share this burden of grief so personally.

And pray on we will...

Jim, once again...thank you my brother for giving us the opportunity to experience what God is doing in the life of this amazing family and ministry. I would love to see it on YouTube!
Praise God!!!

My heart cries out, Glory to the King!
Kathy from NY

Jim,

These pictures you shared are the same pictures that Maria had known of how her Dad, her brothers and the rest of the Chapmans live the life God wants the family.

They are obedient to our Father's calling and never turned Him down on oppotunities in sharing the Gospel despite of their lose and tragedy that took SCC's youngest princess life.

In this world we have tribulations..but be of good cheer I have overcome the world.

You guys will gain the many "crowns" in Heaven as you become obedient to His calling.

Continuing to pray for all of you on these concert tours!

Press on!!!!

not sure what to say....all i see is strength in all of them.

This was my first Steven Curtis Chapman concert! I don't know why I've never seen him before--his music is amazing. He has such a heart for the Lord. I count myself blessed that I was able to see them at Lifest. What a witness to others. Prayers for the Chapmans!

Serenity Prayer:

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
