will continue praying... God is so amazing in the ways that he can take ashes and make them so beautiful...

Kim

Great choice of shows to be on. There is a level of trust and compassion with GMA. Will be praying for God to go before and prepare the way and provide the words for the Chapmans.

Jessica

I was so excited to hear that the Chapman's will be on GMA. This is such an awesome oppotunity for their story and faith to be heard. I will definately be tuning in.

Beth Hamilton

Wonderful! We will be praying the truth of the gospel will be clearly heard! And that God will prepare the hearts of those He has called to hear it! What a blessing to watch the Chapmans (and you, Jim) be faithful to God's call in the midst of suffering...Praise be to God!

Jenny Locht

Tricia

Let's all begin to pray for those 8 to 10 million plus that God will have in the right place at the right time to watch that show and for the people making the show and those appearing on the show the same day that the Chapmans are there. Who knows whose path they might cross and who might be changed?! It's exciting. May God bless them for their courage and willingness to be used. We will be praying for them most of all as always.

Cory

What a wonderful opportunity for the Chapmans to share... thanks for the updates. Still praying...!

Will add prayers for God to prepare hearts for many to hear and respond to the God who gives hope in the midst of the storm. Will also pray for God to give Steve and Mary Beth the words and the grace for the momement as they commumicate so publicly for the first time. To God be the Glory for the things he has done and will continue to do in the wake of Maria's home-going.

Janele

This is IT! All along, I knew in my heart that out of the agony of losing Maria would be an incredible testimony to the grace and love of Jesus Christ. The world has been watching- and they will not see what satan wants, which is the Chapmans cursing God. They will see a family that clings to faith in Jesus through the darkest of times.

Satan really did mess with the wrong family.

Aaron & Amy

We will pray for each Chapman as they begin to share their story with the world. May the Lord give them comfort, peace, patience, encouragment, wisdom and endurance.

Joseph and Karen

Jim,

This is great to hear that the Chapmans accepted the invitation to appear in Good Morning America.

We all know that our Sovereign Father in Heaven will use this family to witness to the Whole world for His Glory. He will definitely put the His words in their mouths as they share Maria's legacy.

We are still saddened of Maria's loss and overwhelmed as we think of SCC and Mary Beth. They will miss Maria's presence as they see reminders and good memories of her doing silly fun things in their own home.

We fervently pray for SCC, Mary Beth, Emily, Caleb, Will, Shaoey and Stevey for daily strength and wisdom. May they find comfort in our Father at all times as He gives them hope of assurance to see Maria one day. We also pray for SCC's crew and friends for renewed strength and guidance as they make all kinds of decisions.

Jesus is so alive and we know that Maria is alive too with Him.

We love you the Chapmans and your circle of friends.

Our double doses of prayers are offered in preparation for this interview.

Cling on to Jesus!

Debbie Santora

That is awesome! I know the world will see Jesus in them...their ministry continues! Praise God!

Bitsy

GMA has a knack for telling the stories of tragedy to triumph (I know of a terrific story they did on a local girl here - a friend's daughter injured in a motorcycle accident).... Great place for them to share!

Still praying...

kristi

We'll be watching and asking God to prepare many, many hearts for what they see...agreed, let the redemption begin!

Karen Dewhirst

It is a wonderful thing to see the Chapmans so willing to be so completely transparent even in this time of pain and tragedy in order to reach hearts for the Lord!!! May He be glorified!!!Their names were brought before the throne in my prayers this morning and I will continue to pray for their healing.
In Him,

I will continue to pray for this beautiful
family.
Our Wonderful Savior will do the rest.
God Bless each and everyone.

valerie

Praise You, Lord Jesus, that the redemption begins...up from the ashes, the beauty begins to rise. Mary Beth was heavy on my heart this morning - please let her know, Jim, that we continue to lift her name specifically to the Lord.

I fervently pray that millions of people's lives will be impacted by the message of the gospel that I know it is SCC's and MB's heart to share. I pray, Jesus, that people will not JUST see their story on GMA and think, "Wow, they're a strong family," but that those who see the interview will seek out the Saviour who is the Chapman's strength.

Bring redemption, Lord Jesus. Let what the enemy intended for evil be used for the Chapmans' good and for Your glory.

Sherry

I will continue to pray.

Wow. To think that millions of people will hear...truth.

God is amazing. The Chapman family is amazing.

Thank you Jim.

Kelby

Praying.....

Arielle

I'll be watching them on GMA. It's a wonderful oppertunity to witness and I'm glad they took it. I pray that everything that comes out of this will be used to God's glory and that many hearts will be softened to the Word of God.

I'm still praying daily for everyone.

Stay Strong!

Jenny

Wow, that is awesome! They will have a chance to share their testimony in front of A LOT of ppl. God is so amazing...so much good is coming out of this tragedy already. Maria will never be forgotten. I will definitely be watching this and keeping that week in my prayers. I am also praying that God gives you all the strength to get thru this week, especially Steven as he starts to tour again. I came across this song (you probably know it) and thought of you and the Chapmans. Praying...Much love in Christ!

My Savior, My God - Aaron Shust

I am not skilled to understand
What God has willed, what God has planned
I only know at his right hand
Stands one who is my savior

I take him at his word and deed
Christ died to save me this I read
And in my heart I find a need
For him to be my savior

That he would leave his place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my savior

My savior loves, my savior lives
My savior's always there for me
My God he was, my God he is
My God he's always gonna be

Yes, living, dying; let me bring
My strength, my solace from this spring
That he who lives to be my king
Once died to be my savior

That he would leave his place on high
And come for sinful man to die
You count it strange, so once did I
Before I knew my savior

My savior loves, my savior lives
My savior's always there for me
My God he was, My God he is
My God he's always gonna be

I know it will be little comfort here on Earth, but yesterday's sermon at my local church caused me to pray an extra prayer for the Chapman's. The sermon was on the difference between our earthly family that will pass away and the heavenly family (that may be some of the same) who will abide with us forever. There was a moment though in discussing the prophesy of Simeon telling Mary that a sword would pierce her side as well, that made me think of the Chapmans. My thought is how amazing that God takes the miserable and unthinkable and makes us realize His perfection. How much more like God did the Chapmans become in this tragedy? They will forever understand more perfectly, more powerfully the sacrifice made for our imperfections. I pray for them without ceasing, and I know our God hears even when the pain is too big for words. I am amazed and ever more impressed with this family. Press on Chapmans! The prize is ever closer each day.

Lisa

My prayers are with you. We are going through a hard time right now with our teenage daughter and know it in no way comes close to what they are going through. But I see how they are getting through this with prayer taking it day by day and it gives me strength and I know God will get us through. May God give them and you strength, comfort and blessings.

Chase

Thats awesome news Jim, thank you for sharing!
