China Tour locked for May 1 - 12
<--- click on this to enlarge image. Can you read that? ... Thought you'd get a kick out of this subject line in my e-mail the other day. : ) Do I have a crazy job or what?!?!?
In May we're kicking of a new tour... this time it's China. Steven has finalized plans for 4 shows in mainland China the first two weeks of May. Additionally, he and Mary Beth plan to visit some of their orphan care partners in China.
As for the US, a few more shows have been added. Very special (mostly) acoustic shows. Seen the April dates? ok Florida, all I heard was how you were so mad Steven wasn't coming, and Steven had to come... so here we come, bought your tickets yet? And spread the word!
I recognize the Chinese characters at the end of the email...middle country (China)! And I'm amused how "Curtis" was omitted, perhaps because there are no middle names in China? :-) Anyhoo, I'm so excited to hear this news and for the blogging (esp. from Mary Beth, the master overseas blogger!) that's gonna be done during the tour. Thanks for filling us in, Jim!!!

Jim, it would be so awesome if Steven would come back to Iowa! I traveled to Minneapolis and North Carolina to see the show in addition to being in the front row in Des Moines. And while I'd LOVE to go to Florida to see another show, the frequent flier miles are running out! Besides... my family thinks I've put in enough miles to trade in for a seat on the tour bus! :)

Hi Jim
This sounds very exciting...any chance that Steven could do a concert in the UK on the way to China?
I've been "spreading the word" here for the last 20 years and still yet to see a live show!! Here's hoping.... ;)
Thanks for all your hard work keeping us up to speed on Steven's ministry.

Is there anyway that Steven is coming to the Philippines while in China like he did last summer?

Please tell us where in China you are going!! Will you be in Hubei or Hefei?? I have two college girls that grew up in an orphanage that I would love to try and get to one of these concerts, they have become dear friends to me and are a big help to our work for Jingmen SWI in Hubei.
Can't wait to hear about the trip, wish I was going to!

I'll second the request for a show in IA!! I'm in Davenport and was so pumped when the schedule (way back when) said he was coming on 2/7 (yes, that's how long ago), but then he never made it here. I still check the schedule hoping...

ok, I know that I'm a little behind here. With Easter so early and the time change and all... ;-) Needless to say, I am SOOOO excitied to see that Steven (and MB?) :-) will be waltzing thru WA again. YAY!!! That made my day! How totally blessed we are to be able to see Steven in concert TWO times in 6 months. uh-oh... I don't want to stir up any covetous thoughts from other states, so I'll stop now.
btw, I absolutely love Caleb's cd!!! One of the coolest things that happened last week was when "This Moment-special edition" finished, then switched to Caleb's cd right after. It was quite a remarkable experience hearing Steven's voice (on the acoustic tracks) and then Caleb. It was almost a double take moment with a strange familarity. who is that singing? wow. to hear similar characteristics in the next generation from the voice that we've all grown to love over the years. VERY cool. Made me think of how awesome and amazing our Creator is, and how He blesses us through the gift of Steven and family.
THANK YOU!
