Part of a team of people, I'm Jim Houser, responsible for day to day management of Steven. I'd roughly define that as serving Steven, where he was 20 minutes ago to anywhere he will be in the next 2 to 5 years. I like it best when I accomplish this unseen.
Calendar meeting at Mary Beth's office today. Wow! is her office clean!
Anybody from Diet Pepsi want to sponsor Mary Beth? :) Nice product placement by Mrs. Chapman :)

Thanks so much for all you do and

Jim, you already know how I feel about you as a friend and servant so I'll just say that I whole-heartedly support Mary Beth's idea to proclaim this Jim Houser Appreciation Day. You truly are the best and I don't want to even imagine a time when you aren't a part of Steven's ministry. Thank you for everything. My prayers go with you always.
Here's to you, Jim!
Seriously, we so appreciate you and all you do. Thanks for shouldering much of the responsibility for SCC & Mary Beth so they can breathe a little easier.
(BTW, did you co-host a radio show once upon a time with Allen Hurley? Your name sounds so familiar...)
My wife and I met Steve in April 2004 while he was in Beijing with Luis Palao and Michael Chang and we were living there as teachers. I had taken a hiatus from my company to go to China but God has recently re-opened my sphere of influence in the US and I desire to continue to be a good steward of His blessings.
I would like to speak with you regarding viability, timing, and fee of Steve doing a charity event in the San Francisco Bay Area. Early to mid 2008 would be our preferred timing. Organization would be "Heart of Silicon Valley" www.hosv.org benefiting Camp Okizu, a camp for children with cancer www.okizu.org.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,

Hey Jim,
These blogs are so cool. It has allowed we "diehard" SCC fans to know so many more, very important people such as yourself. So, we do appreciate all you are doing and our prayers are with you! God Bless!
Sorry I missed Jim Houser day! I haven't been reading as much...just arrived home from South Korea with my new son...and a generous Shaohannah's Hope grant helped to make it possible.
For all of us who are inspired by SCC, we really love the view behind the scenes that you deliver. Thanks for all that you do!
Spent last weekend in the hospital with my Michael, and then busy w/ my Auntie's memorial service on Wednesday, so this is my first visit by the blog this week.
I could say, I was "weak" to miss the yay day for Jim, but when we are weak, then He is strong, right? Anyways, it IS Jim Houser Appreciation WEEK, correct?! :-)
Seriously, sincerest thanks for all that you do.
btw, I'm ordering copies of the new cd for all my cousins... son, granddaughters (who are my age), and nephew of my Aunt. During her memorial service, the tributes shared just kept stirring up echoes in my heart of all the new songs on "This Moment". Since I couldn't hop up and break into song, I'll do the better thing and share the real thing with them :-)
