Don't procrastinate! please? : ) Premium Ticket Sale launches Tuesday

Don't procrastinate, please? Twice a week I get a Ticket Count report, it's a rundown of how many tickets we've sold in each market on the upcoming tour. And every time I look at it, I wonder, why do we as humans want to wait til the last moment? And what can I do to break up that desire to wait? : )

I mean, you know it's going to be a great evening of music, he always has delivered that, so many hits, so many favorites, and now the new music too.

You know the support acts he's bringing along are going to be tremendous, when has SCC ever brought along artists that aren't? Really, even when you hadn't heard of them at the time, did you not love them at the end of the night? On this tour it's Bethany Dillon, a tremendous singer/songwriter talent who is prolific, profound, so sweet, and loves Jesus. And then Sanctus Real, the rock band with lyrics that cut through and challenge, a killer musicality with singable cool hooks, and with hearts for Christ bigger than their guitar rifts (that's saying something)

You know Steven's going to challenge, move, inspire, and encourage you, he always does when you hear the album, he always has any other time you've seen him live. What? You've not seen him in concert before!?!? ok, unacceptable : ) you have to see him live. It's an incredible experience. An excellent band, lighting and sound that stacks up against any live show out there, have you seen Steven play guitar? Yes, he's a great songwriter, and his love for Christ is the heart of it all, but lets not forget the boy can play him some guitar. Seriously, you gotta go.

And we've worked hard to keep the tickets affordable. And consider the value you get, the experience you'll never forget. These are intimate venues with high quality production values and stellar artists with good length sets that give them time to connect and share their music with you. It's going to be a special night.

So please, don't let the moment drift by. Plan now to come. Get the friends lined up to go together, get the babysitter locked in now (if applicable), bring the Chapman concert up at your Bible study, or Sunday school or small group meeting this week. sure, it's still summer... maybe e-mail them all. These are smaller venues than we've played on recent tours, so some may sell out. And even if it's just for my sake (i worry unnecessarily a lot) Don't put it off. Get your tickets early.

We've planned a premium ticket sale for SCC.com folks. It runs Aug 14 - Sep 1 and insures you can get great seats, where SCC's seats his guests, on the floor in rows 5-20. There are no significant up charges like some 'fan club' sort of sales, we're just covering the costs of bringing you this special sale. And we're excited and happy to bring it to you. Cheers to Jenny, Dale, and our friends at Music Today for helping make it happen. It starts Tuesday! And there's 100 tickets in participating markets.

I would if Houston was on the fall tour, but it isn't. :-( I'm sure you've gotten this question before, but is there a spring leg of the tour? And if so, is Houston on it? Thanks, Mr. Houser, sir!

I am definitely going to get them early.Do they have the market one's at the Nashville concert? I keep waiting for the tickets in the Pittsburgh market to go on sale. I have found NOTHING (and I check daily) about them being on sale. I will definitely be online Tuesday then to purchase my tickets. I've been to close about 15 SCC shows over the past 12 years and have never had great seats. Hey, your summary on keeping the ticket prices low...cool! We know its muy expensivo' to throw these concerts... (flash back) remembering when concerts used to be out in college campus stadiums, high school gyms and church sanctuaries! Pack all your friends from the neighborhood into a van and take them to hear about Christ through a talented Christian artist! woo hoo! (those were the dayz... bringing em' back!)

We have tickets for the Toledo, Ohio show and they are ALREADY 5th row. Can we do better by getting the premium tix? I assume these that we have do not include the "SCC seating us deal." Would love to get in on that. Have seen SCC many times and 3X were front or 2nd row!!

Any chance that SCC is headed to St. Louis in the spring? The closest fall tour location is Champaign, IL...a three hour drive! Please come to St. Louis!
