Seriously...I've NEVER heard of or seen such. I've seen hundreds of deer out my office window over the years (yes, I have the greatest job EVER!) and, although I quite enjoy watching them saunter by from time to time...I've never seen one like this. Wow! I thought I saw a ghost or even some sorta goat at first!!! I had to quickly take a photo to share and then of course google to see if I had lost my ever lovin' mind...
Just wanted to share a rare glimpse of my day! So...have YOU ever seen one??? :)
Very happy to see your article, I very much to like and agree with your point of view.

Grace, you post the best stuff! You always find something interesting that other people would not think to post. Thanks for your tremendous insight into many things.

I have never seen one up close like you have, but I have seen pics of them here and there. Where I live is a huge hunting area, BUT they are not allowed to kill albino deer. Amazingly they don't. Great pics Grace!!!

I'm reminded of the elusive "white stag" from Narnia...fun to see that they actually exist!

We have a wild life center in the next town and they have one there. It's the only place I have ever seen one. I'm actually surprised it has survived that long in the wild.

What a rare beauty! God has created many wonderful and beautiful creations for us to enjoy! I am particularly fond of animals with this type of characteristic due to three of my children also have Albinism (not that my children are animals, or at least not all of the time :)

Yes, I grew up in a farming and hunting family. We had an albino deer around our farm when I was growing up! Amazing to see what all God has made!!

We have them here in MN, though I haven't seen one myself, lots of others have.
Bet that surprised you when you spotted THAT out your window!

My cousin saw one from a tree stand one time while deer hunting. It scared him because he thought it was a ghost deer.

This doesn't surprise me at all. My husband and I were vacationing in the Sierra Nevada, sitting out on the deck of our condo and what should waddle right by us, but an albino bear! We were so intrigued that we followed it down the street and partially into the woods. This guy looked just like a Polar Bear, only considerably smaller. So interesting.....
