Here IT is! Many of you have been wondering just what Stevey Joy's newly transformed room looks like. And, although I've had these pictures for a while...today I remembered and took the time to blog it! (sorry for the delay)
As you can see...we had fun. From the verse on the wall (with Stevey Joy in glitter--that was a challenge & a mess-hah!) to the cornices with the pom poms to accessories to match, I'd say Mary Beth did very well & enjoyed every bit of it. And, well...as for Stevey--she LOVES it!
Oh, and...had to add the **bling** around the mirror in the bathroom--isn't it cute? (some of the largest gems I've ever worked with!)
A room fit for a princess :)
What an absolutely gorgeous room! Perfect for a little princess. :) Love the colours. what a dream room for a little girl. :)

Grace and MB,
I greatly appreciate you for sharing these pictures...love it!!!
This is totally Priceless to see the big happy face of little Stevey Joy and also to create a memory lane for her sister Maria.
May the Lord continue to Bless you all as you help out the orphans ...selflessly.
Fervently praying the Chapmans and crew.

Ya'll are so creative! What a beautiful room for a growing girl. My 9 yo daughter loves the purple walls and wants us to paint her room that color when we get a place we can paint.
May you feel HIS presence this Memorial Day weekend.
God Bless,
Janice

Anne,
Please leave Jamie and Micah alone unless you are wanting to stir up trouble.
Can't you just post your "positive" comments without the personal attacks?

Love the room... see some PB in there :)

Grace,
You and Mary Beth seem to have a great niche for design! I have so enjoyed looking at the pictures of all your projects over the years. May God keep allowing your skills to mesh within your friendship with the Chapmans!

This is beautiful Grace! How fun!
And it's so clear that who you are and what you do for SCC and MB goes much further than just being your "job"--but that you do what you do with a great spirit. What a blessing you are to each other. So thanks from us in blogville for "showin' us how it's done" :-)

Thanks for the glimpse :-) I'm glad to hear that Stevey Joy loves her new room. I'm sure it must have been hard to go through the process of making the room just hers as she used to share it with Maria. I see there are many special memories of the two of them together scattered around the room.
I really like the safe place to hang snapshots on the headboard of a bed!! I hadn't thought of that before and it definitely is something I will consider in the future :-)
It definitely is a room fit for a princess!

I enjoyed seeing the pictures and I apologize for other bloggers who may not have thought about their comments before posting them, I was disappointed about budget comments esp. since it was out of the goodness of your heart that the Chapmans shared something so personal and beautiful with us...
I have to say,the Bible verse with the disclaimer (as told by mom) is adorable and sooo true. Praying that Stevey Joy would always remember how she is soooo valuable, special and lavishly loved by Jesus!
Thanks for sharing! Loved it and the purple is extra pretty = )

Looks awesome!! Great job, Grace! I'm picturing glitter forever ground into the carpet, LOL. Totally worth it, though! :D
