Ok. Cat's outta the bag! I'm growing square pans of grass. Although I am keeping my neighbors wondering just what I'm up to, I have to admit my mom's been helping me grow some smokin' (as in really great) grass. Rye to be exact. Sheesh, wish my whole yard looked like this. You may be asking the same question as everyone else I know....WHY??? Well, this weekend is our annual Show Hope Fellowship Weekend--Yay! ...so guess I'm growin' grass for the orphans. Can't think of a better reason, can you??
Grace,
I have to say that I took one look at the tables at the event and knew that you were just tooo creative. But butterflies too? That was a topper. Julia was pointing out the details of our table:
wood, glass, pan, rocks, copper and water. I am not sure I could come across anyone else besides Martha who could arrange such a beautiful centerpiece.

I'm ready for another pic of your kid before she grows up and leaves home. :)

Hey everyone, a friend of mine is going through some difficult times. Depression, anxiety and a recent bout with drinking. I recommended to them to find some positive verses from Christ and talked them through some issues about negative voices, low self-esteem, etc., but they need more organized approach. I'm faily new Christian myself. I've found some good sites in the past that helped me, but can't find them now.
Do any of you have some places you can recommend?
Sorry this is off-topic. All the best with your Hope SHow.
Ps. Sometimes, their are orphans who had parents. Where the parent either was dysfunctional themselves or not there and as a result caused traumatic events to the child. This person mentioned one of Stephen Chapins songs was played to her by a friend. So I said, yes! Great Christian and decided to seek a little advice and help here. The song was about a Tree? I'll look it up. But if anyone can point out a Christian site with verses organized against depression, low self-esteem, negative thougts that would really be helpful! Thanks!
