...ARE just remarkable!! Can I just say that this past event that I helped out with (Show Hope Annual Fellowship Weekend) was one of the coolest! Each year I am blessed with the opportunity to help out with some of the decor/theme for the weekend. I've been growing GRASS (as many of you know) and THIS IS WHY!!! :) I got the idea of some sort of cage and after coming up with these butterfly cages (I know, I know--maybe a little ambitious) have to admit that this has been incredible. I have been quickly schooled in "butterflies" and let me just tell ya--AWESOME! (I've also included a pic of Jordyn checking out the butterflies after the event was over. These live centerpieces were donated to local elementary schools to have to observe and do a release with...so sweet).
I have enjoyed creating based on Steven's new album "Beauty Will Rise ". If you haven't experienced his new collection yet, it will impact you deeply. So much real life in this album, so much I could completely relate to. Wow!
...okay, that's it for now...just wanted to share... :)
I'm ready for more some pics of your child.
:)

Grace,
This is just simply over-the-top-amazing! So I guessed the grass as a centerpiece, but THIS????!!!! WOW!!!
Since Maria's passing, I've had many unusual happenings while praying for those left behind. With very few exceptions, a butterfly or ladybug always seems to enter the scene. Now...I live in MD. It's not freezing here, but it's a tad colder than TN this time of year. These "appearances" shouldn't just happen.
I often pray when I'm walking the trails near our home. One day, not only did I SEE this same beautiful bright blue and black butterfly, but...it flew up to me...and just perched itself on my finger...AND it stayed there for 10 minutes (which was not its choice, but mine). Another day in 9/08, I was walking at this place called Longwood Gardens and this same type of butterfly just landed in front of my sister and me WHILE we were praying for y'all again.
So...to see these centerpieces is just...wow!
Thanks for sharing! May the Lord continue to bless all the work of your hands...giving you great skill and ability in all creativity. I'm gonna start callin' you Bezalel I think :) (Ex 31)
Blessings,
Claudine

Let the butterflies go please.
IMO they don't belong in a cage.

very cute idea. I saw a butterfly kit @ costco the other day & thought it might be fun for my son to "grow" some butterflies. Very cute. I bet little Maria Sue was smiling down on all of you that day.

Wow, so creative! What a wonderful, beautiful idea and a blessing to the school children as well!! Thank you so much for sharing, I was wondering how the grass fit into the evening. Still keeping everyone in prayer. We know how important it is especially in the 2nd year. It was my hardest as well.
