I wanted to share this amazing picture (although it's not the greatest photo--taken with my phone :)...it's from last Saturday evening. I was headed (quite quickly) back home from running an errand when I heard the tornado warnings over the radio. I had dashed through the parking lot caught in a major downpour of severe rain and wind and hail to arrive safely to my car. What a great feeling to finally plop down into the front seat (although soggy by this time) and shut the door behind me. I felt somewhat sheltered and overcome with relief. I was only just around the corner from climbing into the hall closet on the main level of our house when I almost missed THIS! There weren't too many cars on the road at the time so I pulled over and snapped a shot. First of all, there is this amazing cherry blossom tree in full bloom--awesome. In the background a grey and erie dark sky. Then there actually was a double rainbow, but I think you can only see one in the pic. Pretty cool to know that driving through and into the storm, God showed up. Kinda breaks down all of the whys, what fors, why me's at this moment...doesn't it? Well, it did for me. I pray that you all survived this weekends stormy and threatening weather. Be blessed!
Grace - just wanted to let you know that I miss your blogs. I'm praying for you, the Chapmans, and everyone on the team. Hope to have you back blogging again soon!

Hi Grace,
Awesome photo! Over the rainbow, I can see the word "thanks" written in the clouds!
Thanks for sharing it with us. It's been years since I've seen a rainbow up here in Connecticut, although my nephew told me he saw one not too long ago.

Grace -
Where are you? We miss your daily presence.
Did I see you last night sitting at the front of the stage at the Nashville show? I was on the third row. I started to come speak to you but wasn't 100% sure that it was you.
Hurry back online with us.

Grace, when I went into my little girls room tonight after I got home late from the church I was touched as the radio was playing "Cinderella." I tell the story over on my blog. I just wanted to share it with someone on the team. I had to seize the moment. Feel free to check it out at www.ryanknelson.com. I hope that's not inappropriate for me to share with you. Blessings. Ryan.

thanks for sharing that. I have seen a double rainbow twice in my life, and it's a pretty amazing sight! It's almost as if when the darkest storms of life are a persistent cloud, God says here is TWO reminders of My promise, in case you miss the first one ;-) He is SOOOOO good, all the time!
as shannon mentioned, it snowed here in WA last week. this week it's in the 60's with sunshine. go figure!
