As you know from some of my recent posts...we've been cleanin out! Call it pre-spring cleaning if you will ;) That being said I've decided to list some of SCCs clothing items on ebay for auction...
For all of you serious fans out there check out SCCSTUFF if you'd like an opportunity to own some of Steven's clothing items that he may have worn in the past. Most of these items are in very good condition. I can personally guarantee that the items I've listed are authentic...I picked them out of the stash myself and listed them. There are some auctions already in progress with more to come!
You may find this funny...I even checked the pockets of some of Steven's suit jackets...and, found some movies tickets stubs! Hah...bonus, I'll include those, too!
Happy shopping :)
P.S. To find the items I've listed without this link you can:
Go to WWW.EBAY.COM
Along the top yellow bar choose ADVANCED SEARCH
On find items page, scroll down to 6th box...SELLERS
Check ONLY SHOW ITEMS FROM, and in blank type SCCSTUFF
Scroll to bottom of page and click SEARCH
Mary Beth,
There are so many reasons why we love your family and one of them is that you are all down to earth. People respond to other people when they are real and approachable. Thank you for being real and for giving so much of your time and your hearts to families and to Orphan care. Thank you for choosing to be a good example and a good steward. Times are tough for so many and it helps to see others leading by example. Your family is truly blessed and through that you have blessed others.
I hope that your family will experiences healing and joy during this difficult transition and remodel. It is so difficult to move forward but so necessary and our prayers are with you. While new paint and bedding will not take away the pain it can be a big step in the next part of your journey. May the walls of this room be filled with laughter and joy and may God wipe away each tear that is shed as you process this transition.
We are excited to see pictures of the new room. We may not be there painting away but we are with you in spirit, holding you up in prayer, encouraging you on and loving you all like crazy.
PS we do hope that you will continue to share your heart with us. I am so sorry that you have endured criticism on top of the pain your family has already endured. Your story is reaching so many and God is being glorified even when others try to stand in the way. It is necessary for us to see that there is life after physical death. When my sister lost her husband many people thought that she must be okay because she could go out to dinner or go Christmas shopping. They did not understand that the pain was still very deep. What we saw was that God's grace was sufficient for her and that he is carrying her through this journey during the good days and bad; helping rekindle her passion for life. May God continue to carry your family through these dark days and may he continue to rekindle your passion for life. We have not forgotten you and neither has our savior.

I too agree with the others. I guess we should pray for those who said hurtfull things. Pray that they NEVER have to go through what Mary Beth and Steven are going through. I too am a mom who had an ill child and it does take a HUGE toll on you emotionally and financially. I am blessed by Mary Beth sharing on her blog. Please keep doing so. YOU ARE A NORMAL MOM!!!! Would people be critical if you had a garage sale....probley not...I look at Ebay as a online Garage Sale where you can reach ALOT more people! Keep on doing what you are doing and go Chapman's for taking care of your family and getting the councling you need to be a better mom, son, father, daughter. You too have grief to work through. Be blessed today knowing that you are in the loving arms of the KING!

God bless you guys. It's unfortunately a sad fact of this life here on this earth that there will always be someone just waiting and looking for something to criticize or complain about. Please know that you are all still loved, supported and prayed for by all of us who have been behind you through everything, And no amount of criticizing and what not from others will get us to stop. God bless you all.

Do people still not realize that THIS life is tough enough, filled with drama and pain...without CREATING more drama and pain?? After all this family has been through...EBAY? Seriously??!! Just because Steven is one of the founders of modern day Christian music as we know it, doesn't mean that Mary Beth is NOT a normal mom. A mom with a big heart, lots of children with many special needs right now for healing. That expense is insane! I know it because I am the mommy of a very sick little 4 year old girl and my worst night mare is..Vandy wont be able to save her. So what am I doing? What Mary Beth did to offset the costs. I am cleaning out my dear little Eden's closet to sell at the many nashville church consignments. Any money helps offset these expenses you can't imagine when these "life things' come up. I hope and pray the Dr's can fix my little one and I don't walk in Mary Beth's shoes. I also hope if I ever do, I walk it as gracefully as she has. NO ONE has any right to say anything about selling their property. What they do with the funds..heck if she wants to spend it on a cheeseburgers and starbucks..go for it..it's her items, it's her healing..it's her life. Don't like...then take a hike and leave this grieving family and mommy alone!!

Wow. It's hard to imagine that people have negative things to say about you guys purging some stuff on eBay. I mean, seriously. That's ridiculous, no matter who or what the situatin. I read your blogs in an RSS reader and don't see the comments. Otherwise I would have piped up much sooner. Good luck with your auctions! I support you!!

I am sorry that people are discouraging you from being a good steward. If you hadn't even said who the items belonged to and just sold them, you would have been scorned for not giving people the option. This fishbowl you live in is very unfair, and for that I give praise to God for your strength and obedience. Please don't let peoples judgments keep you down or from being all that God designed you and your family to be.
