Niiiiiiice! This is Stevey Joy's choice of color for her room. A shade of purple. We LIKE it! And, we coordinated perfectly with Stevey Joy and Mary Beth's bedding choice (which she's holding up here). We've got some finishing touches still to work on...a cool, new light fixture/window treatments/a couple new pieces of furniture/some rugs and who knows what else ;) Just wanted you all to see it first. Now, gotta get back to work!
Hi Grace,
Nice shade. It's perfect for a little girl. I hope Stevey Joy enjoys it.
It seems you've been quite busy, between painting, auctioning off Steven's clothes, and helping to prepare for the wedding-God Bless You!
Take care,

Grace, I am the one from Toledo, Oh area who came last week to get one of the loft beds. You were great to work with and little did I know I would be getting it from Steven Curtis Chapman family! We made it a fun "roadtrip" and enjoyed our short visit to Nashville and the night out on the town we had. Hope to visit the area again. We put the loft bed up in Hannah's room and she loves it. Thanks again and thank the Chapman family too. God Bless,
~Tiffany

that room looks like it could use a window seat where she can curl up and read a good book or just stare out at the rain and think or whatever. course you can make it so the top flips up and use it as toy storage too. I always wanted a window seat when I was little.

Awww...awesome color! Great choice, Stevey Joy!
It's been so great to see Mary Beth's smile in these past few pictures. Makes me happy and sad at the same time.
I know the room will look amazing, and I can't wait to see finished pictures. Although you are getting done so fast! You'll be finished in no time.
Still prayin',

You girls work SOOOOO fast! Are you for hire???
The rooms look beautiful. I remembering allowing my little girl to pick out colors for her room. We ended up with a RED bed, RED trim on the windows, each drawer of her dresser was a different color (blue, green, red, orange) and the walls were FLASHLIGHT YELLOW! It was certainly bright! She was proud and it is a fond memory, now that that room is long gone.
Great choices of color.
Enjoy,

We love it since it is the same color as Abigail's room. We added some "Target" border and a picture of Jesus and the children of many nations for our Guatemalan princess!

My 5 y/o Princess approves! I was sitting here looking and she walked up and said, "Mommy... that's the color I want when we paint our room, it's the color of a Princess!"
After seeing how awesome Stevey Joy and Maria's room was back last winter... I've always had Stevey Joy on my heart thinking how hard it must be to go to bed in the room that holds her sister's bed... I'm sure this will be a most awesome fresh start for her.

My 8 year old daughter chose that same purple for her room a few months back. She also wanted a white, horizontal stripe about halfway up. It is a beautiful color and turned out so nice. I'm sure Stevey Joy will be very pleased with the final "look".

Hi Grace,
We are so happy to SEE all the changes taking place in the Chapman household.
We know for certain that little Maria is very well miss by her Mama Mary Beth, Shaoey, Stevey and her Daddy Steven and her older siblings...we do miss her sweet smiles and funny videos you all shared.
Please enjoy every moment spent with your precious girls working these projects together.

Love and Prayers.
P.S. Grace- pls share some photo's of your little girl J .It would be nice to see your beautiful baby.

Grace, I have to ask, are these pictures taken the same day you post them? If that's the case, wow! You are even more amazing than I originally knew you already were. :D We started our son's room last Saturday. Right now, I can look in it and see one and a half painted walls, blue tape around the windows and door, everything left inside the room under a plastic sheet, and a couple paint cans sitting on the floor. You, in a span of six days? have completely redone a bedroom! You put me to shame. :D By the way, I love that color. After we get our son's room done (green), we're going to re-do our daughter's room (purple, although a lighter shade). You've done a beautiful job! :)
