Here Mary Beth is working on sorting, clean up and more clean up! This is what Stevey Joy's room used to look like. Well, we've actually moved most of the contents out already... It's out with the old and her turn for a new room! Yay...it's exciting. I LOVE this stuff. And yes...that's wallpaper that needs to be stripped in the background. It'll be a messy job, but necessary one. Check back in to see what color Stevey Joy chooses for her new room!
Can't wait to see the finished room. How great something new.
Thank you for sharing.

Hey Grace,
If you guys have any furniture you are giving away, the Habitat for Humanity Retore store over on Bakers Bridge Rd can alway use nice things.

I remember that this was Shaoey's room when she was a baby - I modeled my china baby's room after this one after I saw it in a magazine.
I'm sure parts of these days are tough with reminders of Maria everywhere.
I'll be praying!

Grace,
It sounds like you ladies have so much fun to work on in the next few weeks.
We miss little Maria in the picture. For sure Mary Beth sees all kinds of reminders of Maria with cherished memories.
Hug the girls for us.
Fervently praying.
"As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy."

Wallpaper rocks! I don't know why people say it's out. It's actually making a come back and is beautiful if it is tastefully done. I love the wallpaper!

"Pirate" Theme???
Pirates are real people. They steal, kidnap, murder, etc...
Why do people think it's cool to promote them?
Go Lions!

We did our boys room last year with a pirate theme. SO fun!

Wow, lots of room shifting going on. I've had the same room with pretty much the same decor for my entire life...hmm, maybe it's time for a change?

Ooh, Grace, this must be the season for new rooms! We are doing two bedroom "re-models" in the next month. We've spent a lot of time and money at Home Depot lately! :) I can't wait to see what Stevey Joy's room will look like, and I think you did an amazing job on Shaohannah's! Our 7-year-old is up first. She wanted an "ocean" theme. I saw a beautiful example in a magazine. We're starting that this Saturday. Our 9-year-old is after that with a golf theme; complete with a border of real golf tees! I'm like you, I love new projects like that! :D We took down our daughter's bed while we do her room, so she is now in the guest bed. Our son will follow suit when it's his turn. That's the only part I don't like about redoing their rooms, but it's time for a change! :) This Spring, it's my husband's and my turn! :D
