Walked by this the other day and kinda snickered (to myself). I may get into some trouble by showing you all this...but, these are the shoes that SCC is keeping. I thought it was cute how he lined them up (so he could actually see them all) and then choose which to keep. We all know that sometimes lack of closet space causes us to stack and create piles (hah!) making it really difficult to see what we have.
(You may be thinking from this photo that Steven is a shoe shopper. I'm quite certain it's just the opposite and that he gets many of these from photo shoots and such. Nice perk, eh?)

heh heh! that makes me not feel quite as bad about my shoes! however, considering that my kids have nearly as many shoes as I do and then x by 4, tend to grow out of them b4 wear out of them... I try to hand-me-down but that only works for so long, so I have a big problem on my hands! (er... feet). thanks for the inspiration for a little jump start on spring cleaning.

Closets always seem to be a challenge.I put off cleaning mine too or just do other things and think about it later.Ha,lol.

The shoe thing reminds me of a story about Rich Mullins. He borrowed a band members new cowboy boots. Then he gave them away to a young man who had no shoes on an Indian reservation. The man knew he couldn't get angry at Rich because to him they were just a neat pair of boots. To the receiver of these boots they were more then a stylish accessory.

good grief - that's a L.O.T. of shoes! I think that's more than my whole family of 4 has....and to think, it looked like he gave away just as many! my husband can't even understand why I need more than one pair of black dress shoes - he would be completely speechless at this photo! ;)
