Oh The Honey Latte!!

Well friends, I have a confession to make! I have found a new drink at Starbucks that is extremely tasty!! Let me introduce you to the Honey Latte! I'm not sure if it has been on the menu for awhile or if it is new BUT I really like it! I had one this morning...with an extra shot of espresso! It was an early morning as I was up preparing for a speech I will be giving tomorrow at an Orphan Care event in Sarasota, Florida. If you would please pray that the Lord would communicate exactly what he needs to through my feeble words, I would be forever grateful :) Thank you friends!

I agree, I enjoyed my first Honey Latte this morning. A real 'eye opener' for a Friday morning. Prayers will be lifted on your behalf, as you speak for the little ones. God Bless!

I can't comment on the latte but I can comment on your upcoming speech. If the past is any predictor of the future, you'll do well! It was your words that ultimately resulted in my wife and I having our daughter home with us. The story your father tells in concert of how you (through prayer and persistence) brought about the adoption of your sisters planted a seed in us. That seed, through prayer and persistence, resulted in God bringing us Lily. So I wanted to say "Thank you." Thank you for your obedience to His will. I wonder how many adoptions your family's story has brought about.

My wife has documented our journey well. Feel free to visit her blog: Looking For Lily

The link to my wife's blog didn't come out it seems. Let me try again:

Emily, you did an awesome job speaking today! I believe it was because you allowed yourself to be used by God, got out of His way, and spoke the truth. His heart shone through your words! I know I was blessed by what you shared from what you just learned at the Father's feet. Thank you for sharing and caring. He is awesome!

She works for Shaohannah's Hope, which I think is very appropriate since she contributed / started the whole idea in the very beginning.

From MBC:
"This was also Emily's first outing as a Shaohannahs Hope employee! She did an amazing job! "

Because of you and your insane dad (LOL) I've become a Honey Latte and Maple Oat Scone addict!

Cheers

How funny is this? One of my friends told me you blogged about Honey Lattes when we pulled up to Starbucks the other day...MY FRIEND BARELY READS MY BLOG AND SHE'S READING YOURS??? HA!

Nah...we're both fans of your dad's, so I had to come see what Steph was talkin' about. Cute :), you could sell squillions!

And...it's after the fact but what a BLESSING for you to be venturing into speaking on behalf of orphans! It really won't be a "job", it really WILL be an adventure!

:)
