I sure do love these gals!
This past weekend I had the great joy of going home for fall break! And it just happened to be Stevey Joy's birthday on Friday. So, what does any big sister do for her little sister's birthday? Well take her to Starbucks of course for a cookie and apple juice. And Maria was able to join us for the birthday outing...so much fun!

Aww. That's so sweet! I love the picture!

Emily,
So neat to stumble upon this blog. Those girls steal the show. It's a blessing to see their Fingerprints of God.
To the One who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb be blessings and honor and glory and power forever.

Awww! What a sweet picture!!!
Hi Emily! My name is Staci, I'm 15 and the proud big sis to Sarah Lu, age 3, adopted from Langfang SWI, Hebei, China and fostered in the Agape Family House with the Wyses. My family and I had the chance to volunteer for Show Hope in Chicago in September, what an amazing experience! We also met your dad after the show! We were also Shaohannah's Hope grant recipients for Sarah's adoption- Thank you so much!! Our story is actually a lot like yours, my sister Chrissy (now 19) first started petitioning for our family to adopt a little girl from China back in about '98 and me and my sister Rachael (now 21) got right on board with her. During all of this, Chrissy had to have a spinal fusion. Before going into surgery, my dad asked her what she would like to look forward to after surgery. She simply answered "For our family to adopt a baby girl from China." Well just a few days after she got out of surgery, a little girl named Rachelle came wheeling into her room and we met the Wyses! A few years later Chrissy and my Dad (who still did not want to adopt) went to China to work with the Wyses for a few weeks. While they were there, they went to the Langfang SWI. After this trip, my Dad's life was changed and when he got back we started the process! Little did we know that the same baby girl whom they met at the Langfang SWI would become ours!! Sarah Lu came home in December 2006 and is such a miracle! Without the grant from Shaohannah's Hope, I don't know if the adoption would have been possible. Thank you for everything you do!! :)

This is just too cute! I was just at your dad's concert (amazing, as I knew it would be)...and had to snoop on his website. Which, of course, has meant that I have to snoop on blogs, too! :-) Had to see the woman I share the most amazing name EVER with. :-D

I'm a new fan of yours and your families blogs but have been a fan of your dad since I was a teenaer (I'm 38). I just wanted to say I have been on these since we heard the very tragic news and this picture of you and 2 of your sisters gave me a big smile and also tears. I am thankful to God that she IS in heaven but sad that you will miss her. I am praying for you and your whole family and wish I can be there to give you a big hug. I also am happy for your engagement to have a husband one day!
