I listened to your tunes on your site - GOOD STUFF MAN!! Simple, melody-driven tunes. Awesome. I think I'll attempt to cover one tonight. Don't play guitar but we'll see what i can do on the keys. I'll link you an mp3 later. 'Till then, hope you guys stay safe out there.

I just heard about what happened. I want you to know that by the time you read this, you will already have had several hundred prayers go up on your behalf. Know that God is close to the broken hearted. Listen carefully for Him to speak to you where you are. Keep a pen nearby to write the words that He gives you. Most of all, get lost in His word. In Christ, Hope

Although I love and listen to Steven Curtis Chapman, I didn't realize your family had three adopted daughters until I heard about your loss and found this Website. We don't understand God's plan for us, but He had a plan for Maria's life. This tradedy has brought me to here, and, in turn, has me seriously wanting a little Maria in my life. I don't have any children and would love to adopt an orphan child. Thanks for your blogs and ministry!
My prayers and thoughts are with you.

To the Chapman Family,
I immediately said a prayer for your family at 4 am this morning when I heard of your loss of Maria on the news. After viewing the videos on your blog I could see that she was full of joy and she brought that joy into your family. I know that she will be sadly missed however as you said in one of your March blog videos- If any one of you are suffering let him pray.
In Christ,
TD

Maria seemed like a special little girl with a big cozy heart. You all have the prayers of SO many with you and you all are very blessed to have such a wonderful and strong family. We are thinking about you day and night. May God bless the time to come and be with all of you. I admire your family for everything you all do. Take care and thank you for inspiring me to become a child of God.

Caleb, Congratulations on such a long road. You give me hope for my two teenage sons. One whose name is also Caleb. Our prayers are with your family during this sorrowful time and during a time of such wonderful accomplishment. May God use you as he has your father. May you all have peace. God being our Father makes all of us family and we grieve with you and your family as if Maria was ours too. My Caleb is adopted, he is 17 yrs. old now and I have 4 biological children as well. God is wonderful to put the spirit of adoption into our lives. With all our love and best wishes. Robin

My heart hurt as I realized this is your life now. One short on this side of life. I am praying for each of your hearts. You all are great examples of your parent's lives. Keep living strong! Your grief may reach more people than you'll ever know. Your music is awesome as well.

Hey,
Just wanted to say my family has all been praying for yours and we are so sorry that this happened. I have 3 younger adopted sisters from 1-China 2- Cambodia. I love them to death and I cannot imagine what it would be like to loose one of them! Maria reminds me so much of my youngest sister, and I was so sad when I found out what happened. Hang in there.

I am 13 years old and want you and your family to know that I heard about maria and that i am praying a lot and I know it is hard but god has a plan and a reason for everything and he can be mysterious but we just have to stay faithful. Also he understands what your family is experiencing but just remember that god promises "I know the plans i have for you...they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11) i am really sorry. i hope that when and if your family reads this it makes your day brighter. My daddy is the worship minister at franklin christian church here in franklin, tn. We would love if your family could visit sometime. My name is Emily and I have a twin named Amanda and an older sister Bailey. We saw you in concert at Rocketown and we thought you were amazing! i listen to your cd all the time. my favorite song is invisible tears. Also, please tell Will that he is an incredibly gifted drummer. Well, i hope that you and your family have a great week. god bless!
