We just finished playing at the franklin graham festival in takoma. We had good times a short set and played some sweet tunes. It seems as though the crowd responded well to the set. Then Franklin presented the Gospel and hundreds of people responded! I consider it a pretty huge honor to have been a part of something that is saving so many peoples lives.

The Grahams have such a legacy for bringing people to Christ... What an awesome thing to be a part of!!!

Wow, this blog thing is pretty cool. I just finished watching you and your family on Larry King Live. It was really cool to hear your insight on the way you are going to live your life from here on out. If only people could grasp how important living every second for God truly is. That brings me back to why I am posting a comment in the first place:) I was at this Franklin Gram Festival in Tacoma last November. I'm an Army brat and was dragged out to Washington State from sun shining Florida two years ago. We nearly had time to settle in before my dad took command and left for Iraq. It was heartbreaking. I left everything behind in Florida- friends, family, and an AMAZING church body. Washington was so different; the complete opposite of my dear Florida. I soon found out that I now lived in the most unchurched city in the nation. It was so hard keeping the faith. I fell pretty hard into depression for a while. It was awful. I just existed and didn’t think much about anything because I usually just ended up crying for hours when I did. There are a few moments during my depressed time in Washington that I really remember. Like when I noticed something was wrong with me and tried to fix things during my family’s reunion with my dad in Europe for a couple weeks in the middle of his deployment, or when I finally realized I was depressed and finally had a true desire to be healed, and this Franklin Gram Fast was one of those moments. At the time, my dad was still in Iraq and I was fighting the depression, but I remember actually feeling excitement inside me when I saw you and your dad and brother on stage. I hadn’t felt anything for a long time. Hearing my favorite songs, the ones that lifted my spirits some, live was amazing! I went to a SCC concert every chance I got in FL and I hadn’t seen him in so long- just another thing that was taken away from me. I was so bummed that you only had the stage for 30 mins but I remember saying having three Chapmans on stage made up for it. My dad is safely back from Iraq, we have since moved to the east coast, and I am finally finding myself again through God’s grace. I guess I just wanted to thank you for being there that night, giving me hope that I could heal. I can say from experience now, that in Christ anything is possible
